Creators big and small are not safe from the corrupted Copyright claim system. Not even corporations are safe. Whether it be a corporation overreacting over 5 seconds of music or sound effects or a corporate imposter abusing the system, claims will be made. Valid or not, people will suffer the consequences of them. But at what point will youtube suffer the consequences of their broken system? They can't interfere with claims & they're trying to avoid a copyright lawsuit that can have severe repercussions against youtube. That's understandable. But it's their broken system that they need to fix. They don't want to piss off a big corporation over copyright infringement. Yet they've already pissed off a corporation over a copyright *claim*. It's like youtube was trying to avoid getting kicked in the dick and just ended up with a foot up it's ass. Their system goes way to hard over so little and can literally be abused by *ANYONE*! I could abuse it if I wanted to if I just made a new account and used no personal info. Their goes a good payday and a nice good f**k you to youtube right under their nose & they would never know. If that doesn't explain to you how bad it is then I don't know what does. Youtube needs to fix their system before it really Bites them in the ass. Do to the youtube getting into some legal trouble with Bungie over the CCS being abused for bogus copyright clams, youtube decided to update their system in hopes to make it harder for the system to be abused by almost any random shmuck. It's not guaranteed to fix the issue, but it's a step in the right direction. Their next update to the system should be to make sure the claim has to provide credentials that prove that they're either they legitimate copyright holder, or that the legitimately represent the original rights holder. Like an id or some sort of legal document that prove your represent that person or company. This video is a tik Tok reply I made to a tic tok journalist a few years ago. Her video was going over a story about THC and CBD edible treats using the same if not similar parody logos and name brands as famous snack brands such as Hershey's, doritos, sweethearts, and many many others. This led to her asking the question which led to the discussion of whether or not it is parody friends are confusing children. Because children are starting to get into adult treats that they shouldn't be having. Well as somebody who does consume these adult treats once in a while, I definitely have something to say about the matter. Because I think I understand why kids are getting into this stuff. Now, no disrespect to the journalist creator who is just reporting on the matter. but I have a bit of an issue with some of her speculation in the video, and from there I will speak on the facts of the matter. Because I know where and how these kids are getting them. And it's not from the stores that are selling them. However, since this is just a topic I want to cover from a personal experience trying to sell online, I'm going to consider this a commentary. A new update to YouTube is here to bring us a couple of new features to bring old videos in small creators some hype. Go ahead and consider that upon, because that's literally the name of one of the brand new features. The new hype feature is meant to be a new form of engagement videos right next to like you, dislike you, and commenting. But it's supposed to be three times or even five times the boost of typical engagement to help small content creators get a boost in the algorithm. But I personally find this hard to believe that it will be in any way, form, or fashion beneficial to the small creators such as myself. I want to talk a little bit more from the perspective of a small content creator and go over how a new future like this is probably going to do much for courage like me or on my size and my engagement rates. This is unfortunate because left and right it seems like many of our favorite YouTubers are retiring for one reason or another. I found out in the process of trying to find the original video of him announcing this to link in my previous video, only to find out that he's in luck. He got enough patreon subscribers to the point where he can keep doing it for a little bit longer. With all the problems that youtube has, I decided to lay them all out on the table. From the issues that don't have to much of a negative affect on the platform as whole to the ones that have a shattering affect on the entire platform. From the nonamed viewer to the king of youtube and #1 subscribed channel on the platform, to the very corporations trying to remold youtube around themselves; o one is safe from any of these isues. No, not even the corporations.

I can not get into depth detail of every single issue. Which is why I'm outsourcing it to other youtubers who already have in better words than I could put them in. Some of these videos made be dated by a few weeks, to months, to even a few years. But they are the best videos talking about the issue because they get into every little detail and many of the issues called out months or even years ago are still persistant till this day. Some of them are getting even worse.

I will also be making a playlist worth more video talking in more depth about the same and other issues not mentioned in this video. The playlist will also include times youtube attempte to address any of these issuse, made an actual update to the platform, and took steps in the right direction.
