A Memorial Service for Charles Raymond Keisler

Charles Raymond Keisler, age 85, of Conover passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Taylorsville. Charles was born in Catawba County on February 19, 1936, son of the late Walter Raymond Keisler and Lois Elizabeth Cline Keisler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Elizabeth Yount Keisler; and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth “Ellie” Rose Keisler.

Those left to cherish his memory are son, Tim Keisler and wife, Kelley; daughter, Kristina (Tina) Propst and husband, Frank; sister, Shelbie Keisler Baker and husband, Harold; grandchildren, Adam Keisler and wife Meredith, Corey Keisler and wife, Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Audrey Kate Keisler, Rhett Adam Keisler, Jeb Franklin Keisler, and McCoy Lee Keisler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Charles enjoyed farming, camping, fishing and spending time in the mountains.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Johnson and Rev. Anton Lagoutine officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 a.m – 11:45 a.m.
