I will explain my point on this. In addition to everything Chibi mentioned, I also want to point out the hypocrisy. There are so many people in this series that have died or been horribly maimed prior to Magne. And even Compress got his arm blown off immediately after that. But apparently people only payed attention to what happened to Magne. So, would it have been OK if Overhaul had killed Dabi or Twice? If your answer is yes, then you're an idiot and a hypocrite.

My other comment is that even if you ignore everything else and just say for the sake of argument that Overhaul is transphobic, even still, why is that a problem?

Overhaul is the bad guy. Why would it be a problem that the bad guy is the bad guy? If Overhaul is transphobic (he's not by the way) that would only mean that the message Horikoshi is trying to make is that it's bad to be a tranphobe, which is the message you're supposed to agree with.
