Biden promises to fight terrorists in Afghanistan… 'and beyond’

US President Joe Biden has promised to ‘continue to conduct effective counter-terrorist operations in Afghanistan and beyond’, after the al-Qaeda leader was killed in an American drone strike in Kabul. A Taliban spokesman described the US operation as a violation of international principles.
