Making Money Blackberries Part 3

This is a six part series, documenting our first season picking blackberries for the market place. I like to call this the Diary of a Mad Blackberry Picker. The hours were long, and seemed never ending at times, but we had a great time, learned a lot, and grew closer as a family.

We are hoping this is a start to a future of financial success here on the homestead, providing a living with the land and tools we have. It has been our dream for many years to be able to have several small businesses that we can raise our children in, teaching them the ins and outs of doing business, and working hard, and being able to take care of their families, whether or not anybody is hiring at that time.

Making money at home is something many of us in this world want to learn how to do. Most of us desire to be home, spending that time with our family or enjoying our hobbies. Often times, jobs take us away from that and can often times shift our priorities away from our family leaving us wondering why do we do what we do.
