Russian Aerospace Forces launch space module on Soyuz-2.1v

Russia’s Aerospace Forces have launched a Soyuz-2.1v expendable launch vehicle, carrying a space module commissioned by the Russian Defense Ministry, from the State Test Cosmodrome in Plesetsk. The module is the Kosmos-2558 satellite, which is being sent into Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO). The launch and the trajectory went as planned.
