I'm very happy to announce that after a fairly lengthy - but quite smooth and without any issues - I have moved from 'Tricia' (19.3, Bionic) to 'Una' (20.3, Focal). Full functionality of all applications as far as I can see, Systemback providing not only 'Btrfs', but I have just proven 'UEFI' (interrupt 13) live usb boot on my Dell e6410!!! What a great application, and for the last ten years or so has served me VERY well, even past its (alleged?) sell-by date? A TRUE gem, no exaggeration.
(**I have found one slight foible, but is easily fixed; out-of-box when installed, "PCManFM" will not hold any change of configuration, such as a change to view, such as 'detailed list'. That is, after any change made as such, on the next opening after closure, it is back where it was! Fear not; go into home folder, and view hidden files, then DELETE the WHOLE 'pcmanfm' folder within '.config' (/home/user/.config/pcmanfm). Next open will seem no change, but then any subsequent change, such as a switch to 'detailed list', or addition of 'bookmarks' to the tree structure, WILL be retained.)
In short, VERY pleased with this. ALL "linuxmint" applications and system tools sport full functionality, Btrfs good (hence top Timeshift backups!), EFI boot on the iso, courtesy of Systemback.
As I say, my only real issue is as to why I had to go this length, and that the Linux Mint team didn't??
Thanks for the interest. Best wishes and stay safe.
Oh, iso can be directly downloaded at, https://sourceforge.net/projects/mylinuxmint/files/mylinuxmint-kde-20.3-64bit.iso/download .
