Bryce automates the making of ice cream using the DeWalt drill! He then automates the churning process with the DeWalt drill! After that they head to our local assisted living facility to share the ice cream and have church! Chad, and Izzy help with music and we have a great time!

Here is my recipe - making a little over a 5 quart tub of delicious ice cream!!

6.5 cups of heavy whipping cream
6.5 cups of Whole milk
3 cups of sugar
6 tablespoons of vanilla - Ours was homemade by Angel!

This makes great vanilla ice cream without eggs.
In this batch I made “peach pie” ice cream by taking two peaches, pitted, cutting them up and pureeing the peaches in the blender. Adding a pinch of salt and a couple of teaspoons of sugar to help draw out the moisture from the fruit cells. Add a half teaspoon of cinnamon.

Last week when I attempted to make Ice cream, which did work out but took way too long, do not put the ice cream bucket on concrete - it will absorb the heat from the concrete and transfer the ice cold to the concrete. What made this work in minutes instead of of hours was setting the ice cream bucket on top of an upside down bucket. That will create the insulated barrier needed to keep the cold inside to make the ice cream!
