Grateful For My Guy

Day #363 of 365 Daily Gratitude
We are celebrating Daryl's birthday today! I am grateful to have a best friend for my life mate. He and I have been through a lot together... the ups, the downs & the twists and turns. He has been honest and supportive of my weird year long project. When I started this I did not consider how it would also affect him. Naive, I guess.
As we progressed through the past year I leaned into him quite a bit. He supported me at times I needed it most. He watched each and every one of my journal entries candidly sharing his thoughts and opinions, some blunt and upfront from unconditional love. When I needed it most, and did not feel I could go forward, he reminded me why I started and coached me back to a strong base. How grateful I am!
