175 Kgs x 6 DEADLIFT IN 40 DEGREE HEATWAVE!

As I mentioned in yesterday's video description, I was thinking about postponing today's session, due to the continuing heatwave, and it reaching its peak at 40 DEGREES today, and also subsequently not getting a great night's rest, due to the vicious heat. I also had to stay longer at work today, so by the time I got back, it was later than usual, and at the height of the day's temperature. However, when I finally got back home, I was actually feeling pretty good, and raring to go; so I figured I would go for it. Warm-ups felt great, so I was pretty confident I would hit my minimum goal of five reps. The set itself went fairly well, especially since I am trying to hone in on pulling faster, and not taking as long with the setup. The biggest problem is that the bar starts to move out of position after a few reps, either due to my misaligned scoliosis ass body, the uneven floor, the rubber tiles shifting, or a combination of all three. Hopefully I can find a way to improve this, as having to readjust my position so frequently really stalls the lift, and drains precious energy. I think that last rep caved in the floor on the left hand side, as I found out later. So I might have to use a different spot to do my deadlifting, unfortunately. All in all though, good day 🤟🏻.
