Grandia II (PS2) Gameplay Sample

I know the DC version looks better and runs smoother, and the DC version has been on my want-list for decades. That being said, I still think playing the 2 version I still a fine way to play Grandia II, because it's a turned-based RPG, and while it would be nice is it looked as good or ran as well as the DC version, it doesn't really effect the game overall. I mean, it's not like it's a first person shooter where framerate dips would render the game unplayable.

I have never gotten around to playing through this game, and not for a lack of wanting to as I loved the original Grandia on the 1 is one of my favorite RPGs on the system. It's just that my RPG backlog alone is massive, and for a good decade or more, I was rpg'd out. My interest in the genre is coming back now, so I may try and hit that backlog sometime.

I know Grania II is spoken highly of, at least the DC version, not the 2 version, and I love the battle system, and just the character designs and styling of the Grandia games. I might play more of this one, or I might get sidetracked for another decade or two before I finally play this.Who knows?
