Worlds Apart | Ally, mediator, disruptor? - Bilgehan Ozturk
As the war in Ukraine approaches the six-month mark, the only party that seems to be willing and capable to mediate is Turkey, which is all the more astonishing given that Ankara continues selling weapons to Ukraine and growing its trade with Russia while also remaining a willing, albeit somewhat disruptive, member of NATO. Is there something about the Zeitgeist and politics that President Erdogan understands and others don’t? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Bilgehan Ozturk, researcher at the SETA Foundation.
