4 Corners of the Apocalypse Intervals - 8x 3.5th minute

We're back to the "4 corners of the Apocalypse" interval drill, which starts at the soccer penalty kick marker, where you sprint to each corner of the penalty box and return to the penalty marker.

This camera angle is much better than last time and shows all 4 corners - so you can get the full picture!

Last time I did 12 rounds going every 4th minute, and this time I decreased the rest interval by 30 seconds. So even though there were less sets, 8 instead of 12, this day was harder with the lower rest intervals.

A quick on writing RIs (rest intervals): I will write these in programs one of two ways:
1. First it could say "2 mins" which means 2 minutes. This means after you do your set, rest 2 minutes from the end of your set.
2. The second way is to say "3rd min" as an example, meaning go every 3rd minute. So your actual rest period depends on how long it took you to complete the work period.

Each method has it's pros and cons, but I tend to like the latter method because of simplicity and ease of looking at a clock. For example, if a program said "3.5th minute" (meaning go every 3 and a half minutes) and I started at 1:30:00 pm, my second set would be at 1:33:30 (1:33 and 30 seconds), and my third set would be 1:37:00, then 1:40:30 and 1:44:00 and so on.

It's actually pretty simple, and more simple if an even number of minutes. But with intervals, sometimes decreasing by 30 or even 15 seconds can be a lot.
