In this interview Laura gives us a fascinating interview on imposter syndrome , a basic overview about what it is, what psychologist’s think drives it, and discuss ideas about why it seems to be increasingly felt by certain people, and why some people seem to have a greater tendency to experience it than others

Laura Kilby is a Reader in Social Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University. Her research explores the psychology of identity and how people make sense of ‘self’ and ‘other’ in their everyday lives. Her main focus is the study of identity relating to marginalised or under-represented groups, examining and critiquing how categories such as race, gender, ethnicity, and class are developed through individual and societal narratives. Her interest in Imposter Syndrome stems from these same foundations of critique – namely that when a sense of Imposterism becomes wrapped with our workplace identity, our professional lives and our wider wellbeing suffers.

In this interview Khyati Gulani gives us a fascinating insight into her experiences of playing and coaching cricket, her success as a coaching, player development, and her thoughts on the future of women’s cricket in India
