The Morning Star Show Notes

Summary:
Is the name Lucifer a mistranslation? Or was the Holy Spirit leading the translators to make a very clear distinction between the son of the morning and The Morning Star? Let’s search the Scriptures!

Lucifer - Hebrew: hêlēl - Lucifer = “light-bearer”; shining one, morning star, Lucifer; of the king of Babylon and Satan (fig.)

Day star - Greek: phōsphoros - light bringing, giving light; the planet Venus, the morning star, day star; metaph. Christ

Takeaway:
Lucifer is not the Morning Star! He is certainly an imitator and imposter of Christ, but the coming Day of the Lord will prove who is the Bright and Morning Star to all the nations, angels, and those who oppose the truth.
