Sunday Longplay Challenge - Epic Battle Fantasy 2 (PC) - Epic+++ Mode Clear!

This week on a special Challenge episode of Sunday Longplay, I'm exploring a new update to Epic Battle Fantasy 2 from the EBF Collection. This update adds three new Masochist difficulty settings: Epic+, Epic++, and Epic+++ which buff the enemies' damage output even further beyond regular Epic mode, with a 60%, 80%, and 100% buff respectively for each difficulty, on top of the added enemy bonuses from normal Epic mode. As the game says, there are no achievements for beating the game on those settings, only pain.

Developer Matt Roszak has even stated in the Steam discussion threads for the Epic Battle Fantasy Collection that he had no idea if Epic+++ mode was even possible. So I decided to take up the challenge myself and test it. The first boss that really gave me problems was the Sand Worm. I must have died about 5 times before I finally got him down. But the final boss? Dear Godcat, that was hard! When I finally beat it, it was by the skin of my teeth!

My strategy involved specializing my skill set around Regen, Auto-Life, and automatic skills (Bunny!!!, Aerial Support, Cat Warrior, Counter, etc.). Auto-Life and automatic skills were my saving grace against the final boss!
