Summary:
Many are prepared to take up arms to protect our freedoms in this country. A noble goal, but to what end? Even should we restore a perfect constitutional government with laws returning equity and justice, we still live in bondage! What is true freedom, anyway?

“Imagine you are a fish in a koi pond. Your entire life and attention are engaged in a battle between the speckled koi and the solid koi, each vying for control of the pond. Neither side has any idea that above the surface of the water there is an entire world of beings far greater in intelligence in a realm they can’t comprehend. These beings breathe air and walk on two legs, and they possess amazingly advanced technology. They are the ones fomenting the koi division that is polarizing the koi. The division between the koi was created by these beings to distract the koi from what they are really doing… taking over the pond.

Takeaway:
There is no permanent liberty in this world, only a temporary abatement of the oppressive nature of governments or corporate oligarchs who are controlled by the god of this world. Let us focus on the real battle, the spiritual warfare, and then rejoice in the liberty that comes only through Christ Jesus. He will return soon to reclaim this earth for His glory and His Saints. Free indeed!
