Judas the Friend - Show Notes

Summary:
When Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said, “Friend, wherefore art thou come?” Why would Jesus call Judas friend when He knew he would betray Him? Let’s search the Scriptures!

Scripture References:
All Scripture references are cited from the King James Bible.

Matthew 26:47-50, Psalm 41:7-12, John 13:1-5, Luke 22:1-6, John 13:21-27, John 6:70-71, Matthew 4:1, John 8:44, 2 Timothy 3:3, Luke 10:18, Ezekiel 28:11-17, 1 Timothy 6:10, Matthew 26:14-16, Zechariah 11:10-14, Matthew 27:3-11

I use a Tyndale printed King James Bible that can be found here:

Takeaway:
The devil entered into Judas when he betrayed Jesus Christ. Christ looked right at him and called him a friend. Is it possible that the betrayal by Judas was a replay of an age-old betrayal that resulted in the angelic rebellion that took place eons ago? It would appear so.
