Assassin's Creed 1 has been out since 2007. Surprisingly, the game holds up very well and looks good, especially on Xbox One X. The game has been enhanced on Xbox One X (looks even better on PC) and I'm surprised at how much effort has gone into maintaining this game. The game has multiple layers of story, involving the key protagonists Altair and Desmond Miles and how each tangles with their era of the Templar society. There have now been a handful of Watch Dogs games but I've never really had much of an interest in them before now. I was always told that the first Watch Dogs game was bad and that Aiden Pearce was just a bad character. Now that I'm a little older, I decided to take a change on this game and try it out, especially with the news that they added Aiden Pearce to Watch Dogs Legion and also put an Assassin's Brotherhood character (Darcy) from Assassin's Creed in Watch Dogs Legion. I played Watch Dogs on Xbox Series X with FPS boost enabled and the game ran fantastically. Assassin's Creed is one of my favorite video game franchises, but it's certainly being milked with crossovers and random product placement marketing. Ubisoft seems to have some kind of weird fascination with shoving characters like Ezio into every mobile game they can think of. I have no real problem with the mobile games or other games that are incorporating Assassin's Creed into them, because they're just using it to further their game, but Ubisoft is licensing this franchise to everyone just to make a quick buck. Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad is the Assassin who started it all. The protagonist of Assassin's Creed 1 would go on to have a part in several other AC games, including Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Assassin's Creed Bloodlines and Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles. This character grew so much over the course of his appearances, but especially so in AC 1. We're taking a look at the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise and the Assassin's Creed multiplayer.
