In Remembrance of Those Murdered

The days when you
Shared the stars;
The universe:
It was ours.

To have, to know;
To shine on through.
Maybe, in time,
They'll still remember you.

Are those days gone, now,
Just like you?
If so, light of my life,
There's more to do.

You were murdered.
You were destroyed.
What can we do
To fill the void?

In remembrance
Of those murdered:
With a sure stance,
We'll keep our word.

Unlike those politicians
With no ambitions;
To lawfully serve,
No matter the situations.

Remember forever
Why we have cried.
Fight with everything you have,
For those who have died.

And, afterwards,
We'll keep the peace.
Unlike those who failed us;
Those that we trust the least.

I will never forget you.
We must fight with might.
We will never forget you;
Dawn nor night.
