Deer hunting 2020, First Illinois sit & 'Lucky 9' is in range!

Oct 24, 2020, join me for my very first archery deer hunt on our Southern Illinois farm. I had one specific buck that I was after and had very good intel on his current pattern of hitting his favorite food plot well before dark. But I was a little behind the power curve in getting this old, rickety deer tower ready, so the day before I went to check on it and it was full of wasps! If you'd have asked many of the deer experts, they'd have said that I would have ruined that plot for sure with me being in BOTH of the deer towers, not scent controlled at the time, only a few hours before the hunt the next day. While I am not quite Midwest Whitetail (I love Bill Winke's show and have learned a ton from it), I do like the challenges of trying hunt and self video tape the hunts and wildlife. Even though it cost me a 180" buck last year, I am back at it again! Yep, stubborn.... Lets see how the first deer hunt of 2020 goes! Join me for some fresh air, and wildlife enjoyment on this sit and definitely stay tuned!
