After passing on several small bucks on earlier hunts a mature doe finally comes in bow range and gives Vince a broadside shot! This doe is with 2 more deer and it takes some time before the right shot opportunity presents itself. Ultimately, the doe moves away from the other deer and gets into bow range. The shot initially looked high but ended up being a double lung hit. The doe only ran about 70 yards before expiring. Tips for early season bow hunting, be consistent and play the wind while hunting food sources.
