NT Bible Study 3: Genealogy of Jesus (David to Jesus)

This is a comparative Bible study on the lineage or genealogy of Jesus Christ. (This third part of this Bible study series focuses on the part of the genealogy from David to Jesus.) Namely comparing the genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 (especially Matthew 1:1, Matthew 1:6ii-17 & Luke 3:23-31 [Genealogies through Solomon and Nathan.]) There are other brief references to: 1 Chronicles 3:5, 3:10-16, 3:17-19; Jeremiah 36:30; Matthew 1:18ii, Matthew 22:41-42; Psalm 89:3-4, Psalm 132:11-12; 1 Kings 6:12ii; Acts 2:29-31; Romans 1:3; Zechariah 12:12; Matthew 1:20; Matthew 2:13; Matthew 2:19; Luke 1:34; Luke 1:39; Luke 2:19; Luke 2:51. Overall this is our 3rd New Testament (NT) Bible Study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
