Ukrainian firefighters battling a blaze at a petrol station in the Ingulsky area of Mykolayiv in Southern Ukraine on Tuesday morning (24 May 2022).

The Mykolaiv region has been targeted by Russian airstrikes in recent days. It was threatened by Russian troops advancing from Kherson in the South in the early days of the war but Russian forces have subsequently pulled back to Kherson, where they maintain control.
