"Ralph Bakshi's" Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King - (what might have been)

Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings animated movie covered the first two books in the trilogy.

Unfortunately he never made the final book into a film.

So I am afraid this is as close as we are ever likely to get.
