This is Tides demo from 2004. It is a split album with a local (Plattsburgh) band called "Communion", I have no info about this band, never saw them live, not sure if they went on to do other things. Tidal has two songs from the 1st album of 2005, "Resurface". The title track has LYRICS! Obviously, Tidal changed their name to Tides and adopted a lyricless format. I'm uploading this b/c it is literally available NOWHERE. For any Tides fans, this is a REAL treat! Enjoy!

"Tidal:
These are two demo tracks recorded by the band live to stereo. They were early versions of Siren's Fade and Resurface that would be re-recorded and released on Tides debut album. Despite the lack of studio production the sound is very good. Buried in the mix are the vocals (by Donnie Greene) that the band would eventually forego in favor of their instrumental approach."
