Chaos_Ohm - New Demos (2014-2021)
This is a brand new recently mixed and mastered mix of songs created since I lost my Father and Mother and got a new computer with a newer version Fruityloops, etc. "Natkura" and "Glisten" were a collaboration between me and then roommate Nate Merry from early 2015. The rest are projects I started and finished between then and now. The last track, "Evil", should NOT be listened to unless you're very into ambient NOISE harshness.
Chaos_Ohm - Easter Fail
This is not the correct flier for the show, there was none... But this show was done on Easter Sunday of 2010. There were a bunch of folks at the house and I invited them all down to Jam with me on this. I basically just told everyone to wing it and play as best they could along with a droning low freq. synth detuned bassline played through a very nice large quality bass amp. The drums were unmicked, and the guitar was played through a nice tube amp. Everything was recorded using a stereo portable digital recorder and later mixed and mastered on my computer. Tracks one through 5 are the live portion which had Chris Zeppieri on guitar throughout with me on drums. Jay-O guest drummed on track 4, Kate Wurster did stand up bass for tracks 1-3. Track 6 is a remix of the original 30 min. synth bassline and track 7 is just some crazy random stuff. Recorded in the basement of 56 Elm St., Plattsburgh, NY. The baseline track was titled "6.13" and the album was titled "A Tribute to Sunn O))) & Tribes of Neurot", although I've since decided on "Easter Fail" since it was recorded on Easter accidentally and no one showed up for the show. So it kinda sucks, but is par for the course for people making experimental music in Plattsburgh... FYI, the original Bassline track from the computer had binaural brainwave "beats" hidden within it which became monaural beats when played thru the bass amp. The final mix of the live tracks have the original bassline mixed 30% over it, so it lends itself to re-crating the stereo effects... I included "Rissunnette" so you could listen thru headphones and get the intended binaural effect, just be sure to remove your headphones before the track ends, as it quiets down. "reddick" starts off LOUD. I figured it was a horrible way to end this album, enjoy! =D

Chaos_Ohm - Apocalupsis
This is the 1st EP of "officially" released Chaos_Ohm experimental electronica from 2006. It's made up of numerous FruityLoops tracks that I had been working on from 2004-2006.
Track 1, "1) Chromneumalucidnogeneticagram", has a track called "isittime?" that I made 4 versions of (the deep drones and low siren sounds), a track called "hologeneticagram" (the high whistling sounds) and the opening sound is a rec'd guit. riff played over and over again with it's pitch related to the increasing BPM of the track- resulting in what you hear.
Track 2, "Fantrancy-6b", is a combination of several tracks: One is a osc. with it's pitches set at variables of 2/3. The other is a guit. track from Bryce Brushnefski time-shifted to be very fast w/ no pitch correction, and then slightly slower speed with FX. Over that is a track I made called "Fantrancy"- a fast beat with a arpeggiating snyth.
Track 3, "EndNoise80", is a sound collage of the following, since I feel the need to list sources: an FM radio recording I made when I was 5 (yes that's me saying "mommy, lookie...", also noted is a small snippet of 2 80s songs, can you name each one in the comments?!?), in 1985, of what was "B-100" in Plattsburgh, NY (now known as "The Buzz 99.9"). a sample of me playing numerous instruments over each other on a tape deck that had the erase head ripped out. a sample of the DVD menus from the band "Neurosis"'s video-album made for "The Sun That Never Sets" LP. a sample from Mike Patton's noise-exp. "Pranzo Oltranzista" (can't remember the track name). a sample from a documentary about our dealings with Iran and the Middle East from the early 90s, the track "newester" that I made, and the track "99d", also by me. Oh and AM radio static.
All art by me.

Chaos_Ohm - 11-7 Jam
I set up a ring of "instruments" to play in my shoe-box livingroom. I had a few friends over and each "Station" that we circulated around was as such: glasses of water filled at diff. heights hit with a knife, a guitar plugged into a small amp, a keyboard plugged into the stereo input, a microphone hanging to catch ambient sounds and people talking into it, 2 screwdrivers to "Drum" on a stack of 4 car tires, and my computer's sequencing program thru it's computer speakers. The latter part is just me on keyboard "drums" with a few FX pedals- which I added as an track over the original "jam" session.

Tidal + Communion Split EP demo #1 (2003)
Tidal (Tides) + Communion Split EP (demo #1) [2003] tracklist:
1) Resurface (early version) 0:00
2) Sirens Fade (early version) 10:05
3) Void (demo1) 16:43
4) Black WInter (demo1) 29:50
I didn't know this until recently, but there are TWO Tidal (Tides) + Communion demos that were made. This is, apparently, an earlier version of the one that I had. You'll notice that in this one, the vocals on "Resurface", the 1st track, are not as clear in the mix as with the 2nd vers., as well, certain effects pedals used on the guitar sound are not present yet in this demo.
Here's info from the webpage from which I downloaded this vers. of the demo:
"Tidal:
These are two demo tracks recorded by the band live to stereo. They were early versions of Siren's Fade and Resurface that would be re-recorded and released on Tides debut album. Despite the lack of studio production the sound is very good. Buried in the mix are the vocals (by Donnie Greene) that the band would eventually forego in favor of their instrumental approach.
Communion:
Communion is comprised of the three core members of Tides: Rob Dowler, Donnie Greene, and Augie Isaacson. Also in the mix is Mike Murphy handling vocals. The influences that inspired the band on their creative trajectory are a bit more apparent than on their later incarnation as Tides. However, this does not make their music any less powerful or exciting to listen to. Fans of Tides will appreciate this release. For those listeners who enjoy watching the heavy fuzzed out fury of Tides’ live show and have imagined what the addition of a vocalist might contribute, this release will more than satisfy your curiosity.
Recorded to 8-track by Larry Dolan during the winter of 2002 in the basement of Donnie’s father’s home (in the middle of an apple orchard in Chazy, NY), this ep is a great listen despite the sporadic rumblings of an uncooperative furnace."

Tides - Live at MacDonough's Bar, Plattsburgh, NY (2005)
Tides - Live at MacDonough's Bar*, Plattsburgh, NY, 2005- track listing:
1) Resurface (00:00)
2) The Sight (10:29)
3) Unveiled (17:24)
4) In Their Arms (23:14)
* I originally thought this was rec'd at Valentine's Lounge in ALbany, NY- but I came to find out later that it was indeed the show I had gone to locally. I decided to keep the art and not re-load the video with new art- they played there too, so wth? I changed the thumbnail to a shot of the show from inside the bar by Pete B.
Recorded on an old '90's era VHS Camcorder, and stereoized using a 1ms echo to one channel at 100%, so it MAY sound odd on a small stereo where the speakers are close together, but it gives it a fuller faux-stereo sound on headphones and a Hi-Fi stereo system- I also "mastered" it as best I could through Sony SoundForge mixing. It certainly gives one an idea of just how F^*%ING LOUD they played, especially in small venues. It was certainly a... cathartic experience...

Tidal demo #2 (2004)
Tidal / Communion split EP demo (2004)
1: Resurface (00:00)
2: Sirens Fade (08:16)
This is Tides demo from 2004. It is a split album with a local (Plattsburgh) band called "Communion", I have no info about this band, never saw them live, not sure if they went on to do other things. Tidal has two songs from the 1st album of 2005, "Resurface". The title track has LYRICS! Obviously, Tidal changed their name to Tides and adopted a lyricless format. I'm uploading this b/c it is literally available NOWHERE. For any Tides fans, this is a REAL treat! Enjoy!
Here's a link to buy the fully mastered album from Teenage Disco Bloodbath records, sorry, CDs only and very ltd copies!: https://tdbrecords.bigcartel.com/artist/tides
