EASY 157.5 Kgs x 7 Deadlift on 1 HOUR OF SLEEP!

I have occasional bouts of insomnia, that has unfortunately reared its ugly head once again. Combine that with the hot and muggy summer weather, how light of a sleeper I am to begin with, and my rotating work schedule, and you get my current case of sleep deprivation. I was initially going to just cut my losses, and postpone the session until tomorrow, but I felt I could at least give it a go, do my warm-ups, and see how the deadlifting felt. I performed a lot better than I expected I would! My maximum cap I set for myself was 7 reps, which is more than double the prescribed minimum of three for this week; and before I knew it, I had already hit it! I think I still had another two or three reps in the tank, as well. So if I wanted to, I could have bested my previous rep PR of 8. However as mentioned before, I am trying to be more cautious, and mindful to keep some reps in the tank, especially on Deadlifts and squats. Besides, given how bad I slept, it definitely would not have been a good idea to push that hard. The rubber tiles I got are REALLY helping with rooting myself hard to the floor, and concentrating on accentuating and refining my leg drive, which is my weakest point. Hopefully a sign of good things to come! Super happy with how this turned out, all things considered 🤟🏻
