Pursuit Starts in Corrigan, Ends South of Livingston, LIVINGSTON, May 22, 2022 - At approximately 10:30 pm on May 22, 2022, Polk County Dispatch radioed to all units that a pursuit was in progress. Corrigan Police attempted to stop a vehicle (older model Chevy pickup) and the driver decided it would be a good idea to evade. The pursuit started on and continued in the south-bound lanes of US-59 and continued with consistent speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Other agencies joined in the pursuit including State Troopers, Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and units with the Livingston Police Department. The suspect vehicle was successfully tire spiked in the Livingston area. The pickup finally left the pavement to the right just south of the Livingston City Limits and stopped in high weeds. One suspect temporarily escaped into the high weeds. Two other suspects were immediately apprehended by Livingston Police Officers. Moments after that, Livingston Officers caught the third suspect hiding in the tall weeds and immediately took him into custody. That's all the information that we have at this time.
