FORD RANGER BLACK EDITION with 2.2 liters turbo diesel engine

Ford starts selling this month the Ranger Black, a new version of the pickup for urban use with an exclusive combination of style, performance, equipment and technology, including connectivity with remote access to various vehicle functions via cell phone. Like the Ranger Storm, an off-road version launched last year, it expands the line with an unprecedented option within the segment, this time to serve the customer who predominantly runs in the city.

The black monochromatic look both on the outside and in the cabin, with matte and shiny details and leather seats, enhances the sophistication and sportiness of the Ranger Black. The mechanical assembly, formed by 2.2 Diesel engine, automatic transmission, 4x2 traction and suspension with special adjustment, surprises by the torque, handling and comfort.

All of this, added to the well-known robustness of Ranger, technologies that improve safety on board and a very competitive price, contributes to make the new version a good purchase option.

Santantônio, roof rack, side stirrup, headlights with dark mask, front grille and 18-inch alloy wheels are part of the pickup's different items. The interior is also exclusive, with a “Black” look. The equipment list includes seven airbags, dual zone air conditioning, autopilot, stability and traction control, adaptive load control, anti-rollover system, trailer control system and ramp start assistant.

Its complete multimedia center is the SYNC 3 with an 8-inch touch screen, voice commands and access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The FordPassTM Connect connectivity system, with built-in modem, allows functions such as locking and unlocking, remote start with cabin climate control, departure scheduling, odometer, autonomy and vehicle location to be controlled by the cell phone, in addition to receiving alarm and operation alerts.

Ranger Black was first presented as a concept at the São Paulo Motor Show in 2018, for market testing, with excellent public acceptance. Now comes its final version.

With an imposing posture and a sophisticated look, the new pickup does not go unnoticed on the streets. Its monochromatic black theme combines parts with a matte and shiny finish, headlights and lanterns with a dark mask and 18-inch wheels with unique design.

The door handles, mirrors, roof rack, stirrup and side grille in matte black reinforce the sportiness. The rear maintains the spirit of urban sports. The Ranger Black santantonium is the same as the Limited version, a piece of refined design that visually expands the cabin.

The interior also brings an extra touch of sophistication, with leather seats, steering wheel and central armrest with refined coating and dual zone air conditioning.

The Ranger Black comes with new FordPassTM Connect connectivity features, which create new user interaction with the vehicle. The system brings together several functionalities that can be controlled remotely by cell phone. They include remote locking and unlocking of doors, remote start with climate control to cool or heat the cabin and alarm alert, which warns the driver in real time if there is any violation of the vehicle.

The system is also capable of generating 38 different types of alerts in the event of a vehicle failure, which includes monitoring more than 3,000 parameters, and guides the driver when action is needed.
