The urban homestead is capable of a lot more than most people give it credit for. There are many ways to grow all kinds of food on your little property. Dave Jones has gone super saiyan prepping in 2020 and 2021 introducing all kinds of food producing options on his property. He is confident that he can feed his family in chaos.

HE DID IT ALL ON 2 ACRES!

Don't be afraid of your small property. Even if you don't have an acre! I am operating on less than 1 acre and we have fruit producing trees, chickens, gardens, wild edibles, berries and nuts. By the way, we are just scratching the surface on what we are capable of on our property!

I wanted to show you how to take a bare root fruit tree and get it in the ground with success. While planting a traditional garden is a great move, a fruit tree can provide you with 10 years of food that requires very little upkeep.

Fruit trees can provide your urban homestead with fruit to be eaten fresh or canned and preserved.

If you are a prepper or survivalist or even someone who wants to fortify against uncertain times (thats a prepper) then you should consider growing fruit trees and developing your own urban homestead.
