"Solus OS" as 'daily-driver'...

I was looking for some OS that would fit the bill for ALL my laptops that would be good 'forever'. Even I am sick of searching for the perfect distro?
Well, for me Solus ticks all boxes; it has all my go-to applications, as well as printing out-of-box.
I am using MX and Devuan too, but the latter is a bit 'cronk' on my nvidia 340 machines.
A bit of a blather about this and that too!
(**FIX for me on Solus for 'yt-dlp' was to manually create the folder, '/usr/local/bin' which is not in the file structure by default. Once created, the 'wget' function was able to drop 'yt-dlp' into the correct place'!! A restart still needed after the 'chmod' command of course!)
