Margaret “Molly” Brown recounts her experience of the 1912 sinking of RMS Titanic, on its maiden voyage. Her account was published in the Newport Herald in May 1912. Her account includes the voyage, iceberg impact, 6 hours in the lifeboat and survivor treatment on the rescue ship, Carpathia. She also expressed strong opinions about the behavior of Titanic’s crew.
