The Kansas City Massacre: Was Pretty Boy Floyd Really There?

On June 17, 1933, four police officers were killed in the parking lot of the Kansas City Union Station, along with the prisoner they were escorting to Leavenworth prison. The FBI immediately lay blame at the feet of Charles “Pretty Boy Floyd,” though he immediately denied involvement. To this day he is still associated with the massacre and the plaque memorializing the officers still lists him as an assailant. But was he really? This video follows the last walk of Frank Nash and his guards from the train to the parking lot, then recounts what happened in the 30 seconds when bullets were flying. I also discuss the work of Robert Unger who combed through every FBI document he could get his hands on. After you’ve watched let me know what you think in the comments. Did he do it?
