How are FINISHED and DONE different?
The words "finished" and "done" are synonyms. In most cases, you can use both words. In fact, in some cases, all you need to do is rewrite a sentence to swap the words.
The most common difference for when you would use done is if you were talking about food.
"The food is done."
In this case, it is important that the people in the room understand the context. For example, everyone knows the food is being cooked, so you don't need to say the word cooked.
Sometimes wile I'm making these videos, I realize the topic might be more complex. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and let me know how I can help you.
