Drink? Chug? Sip?
The English language is poetic. There are many words you can use to describe what you are doing. Take the word "drink" for example. Sure, you drink water, but how exactly do you drink water? You can drink it, gulp it, chug it, swig it,, down it, or gargle it. The list goes on and on. In this video, we're going to take a look at three main ways to drink water: slow, normal, and fast.
sip = slow
drink = normal
chug = fast

How are FINISHED and DONE different?
The words "finished" and "done" are synonyms. In most cases, you can use both words. In fact, in some cases, all you need to do is rewrite a sentence to swap the words.
The most common difference for when you would use done is if you were talking about food.
"The food is done."
In this case, it is important that the people in the room understand the context. For example, everyone knows the food is being cooked, so you don't need to say the word cooked.
Sometimes wile I'm making these videos, I realize the topic might be more complex. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and let me know how I can help you.
Open the Air?
In this video, I teach you the difference between turn on/turn off and open/close. Some people get a bit confused about which to use for a given circumstance. I'm here to help!
Does it need power to keep doing something? Then say "turn on" or "turn off."

What is this???
In this video, I teach you what a slide is. Some people, understandably, make the mistake of calling a slide a slider. In English, you can often change a verb to a noun by adding -er to the end of the word. Unfortunately, this doesn't work with the word slide!
Verb: slide
Noun: slide
