Easy Butterfly cake

It's easy to make a beautiful butterfly cake! To make a butterfly cake you will need a yellow or white cake baked in a round cake pan. Frosting of any color you choose( you can also color white frosting with food color), pastel candies( I used Sixlets as they were all I could find in pastels), and Twizzler pull and peel licorice. Take the cake out of the pan and place on the surface which you will be decorating the cake on. Cut cake in half. Turn the cut edge inwards and the round side outwards. Repeat with other cake half. Frost the whole cake, making sure to frost all sides and edges too. Next decorate the cake using the candy. You can use whatever colors and patterns you like! Then use 2 pieces of the Twizzlers as antennae. That's it! Now you have a beautiful butterfly cake! Enjoy!Show more
