Having really tan skin is the ultimate goal for a lot of people. For them to achieve this goal, there’s no holding back. Thus, they end up being exposed to the sun for a long period of time and without proper protection, it causes serious problems in the skin. One example is skin cancer—the most common type of skin disease.

Others, however, to reach their goal undergo chemical procedures, like artificial tanning. However, in addition to not being healthy for the skin, it’s often an expensive process that just leaves the skin with a strange orange color.

But, there is a natural, cheap, homemade way of having darker skin. The only thing you need to do is prepare a black tea and apply it to your body.

It’s very easy to do.

You’ll need at least 10 teabags. Boil a liter of water and as soon as it comes to a boil, turn off the heat.

Pour the teabags and the boiled water in a thermos to let the tea steep. Then, cover the container well and wait for about 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, remove the teabags and put the steeped tea in a spray bottle. That’s the best way to apply it where you want to on your body. It should be noted that you should only spray the tea on your skin when it’s fully cooled. You don’t want to burn yourself.

Apply it in sections. If you start with your legs, use how ever long it takes for your legs to be completely covered. Spray the tea with one hand the other, rub it in so that you get a uniform covering. It’s better to apply the tea after a bath or shower. This way, the home made tanning solution is even more effective.

Just in case you want, you can keep the tea in the refrigerator for up to one month. After that it doesn’t work as effectively.

One final tip is to add some other elements to the infusion. For instance, you could add almond oil and a fragrance of your choice. This way, you’ll have tanned, moisturized, and sweet smelling skin all at the same time!
