E19 0003 Santa Rosa and Dilia on Route 66 75

This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, and it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we started with some more ruins before we filmed Joseph's Bar and Grill. We continued to film ruins on our way to the famous Santa Rosa Blue Hole and their Park Lake Recreation area (this is a good stop for your kids). As we pass through Santa Rosa we filmed the Route 66 Restaurant (open) and the Silver Moon Mexican Restaurant (open). We came to another spur then we turned right onto Route 84 which is an older Route 66 alignment, and the original Santa Fe Trail, that takes you to Santa Fe. This is a long and lonely stretch of Route 66 that passes through Dilia that has the Sacred heart Church attraction and some ruins.
