E19 0002 Tucumcari and Santa Rosa on Route 66 74

This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, and it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure continues at the Tucumcari five Mile Park with Richard Tally. Richard introduced us to Bob Beaulieu at the Tucumcari chamber of commerce. We then sought out the Tucumcari murals. The Road crew allowed us to use their song "Tucumcari tonight" in this segment, Thanks Road Crew! Our next destination is the Santa Rosa Auto Museum, but on our way we filmed more ruins and attractions. We filmed the Lake View Motor Court ruins and the Le Mesa Motel.
