This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, and it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we found the abandoned CRI&P RR Tunnel. We then entered Tucumcari that has a few ruins in the outskirts of town like the Pony Soldier. Richard tally greeted us at the Motel Safari and was our guide for the two days we were there. The first attraction we saw was the Mother Road garage owned by Cindy and Danny Ellis who gave us a tour of his business, plus a group of locals gathered to tell stories.
