E16 0001 Texola OK and Shamrock TX on Route 66 61

This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, and it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we leave Erick where we had an insane time, and on the way out we filmed attractions and ruins. Texola is our next stop where we had fun at their jail and took pictures of some Texola ruins. The iconic U-Drop in is what we were seeking in Shamrock, a restored Conoco station. Shamrock has a large mural that looks like a town. From there we headed to McLean to see the Devils Wire Museum.
