NEW TECH EXCLUSIVE: No dice! Second try: 100 Kgs x 5 Bench Press

I was so bummed about missing the opportunity for a new rep PR, I thought I would try for it again. I rested about 8-10 minutes, and then gave it another go. My performance overall was much better this time. However, my strength was drained by that point, and it became clear I was not going to hit seven reps. The fifth rep was grindy, so I figured there was a good chance I would fail on the sixth, so after a bit of deliberation, I decided to not take the risk, and rack it. Getting five reps with depleted strength is still not bad, though. It is an encouraging sign that 100 Kgs is becoming easier and easier. That 100 Kgs for ten reps will be MINE one day 🤟🏻
