This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we continue the Gay Parita shoot. This was one of our favorite attractions thanks to Gary. We continued south filming old ruins as we passed through tiny towns like Avillia till we arrived in Carthage and the Boots Motel that was housing low income tenants at this time, but now it is restored and open for business. Wendy Douglas was our Carthage tour guide. Our next stop is the Jasper County Courthouse, and besides the architecture, inside is a mural attraction worth checking out.
