"Graveyard Carz" Star Allysa Rose Is Crazy About Mopar Muscle Cars
Fans of the Motortrend reality tv show Graveyard Carz can't help but root for Allysa Rose. She's young, she's gorgeous, and she knows more than a thing or two about the classic Mopar muscle cars that come into the shop.
But of course, there's more to her than what we see on the tv show. Allysa is more than a tv personality. She's a dancer, a mother, a daughter, and has the chops to resurrect some of the most stunning Mopar restos around.
It's no secret that Allysa Rose is the daughter of Graveyard Carz producer Mark Worman. Growing up in Springfield, Oregon, she helped her dad out in the garage, tinkering with cars from a young age. Thanks in part to their shared interest in dirt bikes and quad racing, Allysa Rose can absolutely hold her own with some of the tough vehicles that she comes across on the show. In fact, her personal car is a Dodge Charger.
But fans of the reality tv show may not realize that Mark Worman also accompanied his daughter to regular dance classes. She's actually a very accomplished dancer who has been professionally trained in several very different styles of dance, including hip hop, jazz, classical ballet, ballroom dancing, hula, and krumping.
Allysa Rose briefly and very famously dated UFC fighter Anthony Johnson, but she is currently in a relationship with Chris Wanke. According to some very adorable pics shared on social media posts, they celebrated the birth of their second child together, a daughter named Capri, in February 2021. Their first daughter, Brooklyn Monroe Wanke was born in January 2015.
Allysa was previously married to Australian footballer Josh Rose. They also share a daughter, Emma. Fans of the reality tv star may remember that Emma was just one month old during Season 1 of "Graveyard Carz." In August 2020, Allysa posted proud mama pics of her daughter's tenth birthday, proving that time flies faster than the high horsepower muscle cars Allysa has brought back to life.
Despite the popularity of the show "Graveyard Carz," there are quite a few things that are unknown about Allysa. She has a strong social media following, but like many reality tv show celebs, she knows when to keep her private life, private. For example, her date of birth-- and those of her children-- aren't public. She hasn't specifically disclosed her exact relationship with Chris Wanke, or the reasons for her divorce from Josh Rose. Experts speculate that her net worth is around $1 million, but we don't exactly have firm confirmation of that.
What we do know is that Allysa is an extremely talented young woman who brings a sassy, classy touch to the Graveyard Carz garage. Serving as the perfect foil for her father and his best friend Royal Yoakum, the camaraderie, chaos, and craftsmanship displayed on the Motortrend reality tv show makes it a shoe-n for fan favorite among today's many motor shows.

'Little House on the Prairie' Cast: Where Are They Now?
Little House on the Prairie is one of the most beloved classic tv shows of all time. The show, based on the book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, followed the Ingalls family in Walnut Grove, Minnesota in the 19th century. Viewers were drawn to the TV series for the same reasons people loved the books. It was a charming depiction of the small-town life in America at the turn of the century, and all of the characters really made you feel like you were part of their world. Which makes sense considering the books were based on Laura's actual life.
Though the series was set in Minnesota, Hollywood did most of the filming in California but it doesn't take anything away from the story. After nine seasons watching the members of the family grow together on NBC, the show ended.
Here's what the Little House on the Prairie cast members have been up to since the show wrapped back in 1983.
1. Melissa Gilbert- Laura Ingalls Wilder
Melissa Gilbert beat out hundreds of little girls for the role of Laura on the show. Fun fact, her brother Jonathan Gilbert co-starred as Willie Oleson on the show with her. Gilbert really grew up on the show, as Laura finds romance, marries, and has her own children.
Following her Little House days, Gilbert has continued acting appearing in a number of TV films as well as numerous shows including Stand By Your Man, Sweet Justice, 7th Heaven, Nip/Tuck, and Secrets and Lies. She was also a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
2. Michael Landon- Charles Ingalls
Bonanza actor Michael Landon immediately moved over to Little House after his western series was canceled to play "Pa" of the Ingalls family. He also directed the most episodes in the series.
Landon opted out of the ninth season of the show, just showing up as a guest star and moving to a writer/director/producer behind the scenes. He went on to create and star in Father Murphy as well as Highway to Heaven. His daughter, Jennifer Landon, appeared in the final episode and is now starring on Yellowstone. Landon passed away in 1991 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
3. Alison Arngrim- Nellie Oleson
Nellie Oleson was a fictional character on the show, a sassy young girl whos parents ran the mercantile in Walnut Grove. She spends most of the series being the rival of young Laura, the complete opposite of her in many ways. Arngrim had actually auditioned for the roles of Mary and Laura initially but became known as the "bad girl" throughout the 70s for her portrayal of Nellie.
Arngrim went on to appear in a few feature films including The Last Place on Earth, Make the Yuletide Gay, and Le deal. She also released an autobiography in 2010, Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated.
4. Dean Butler- Almanzo Wilder
Who could forget the hunky Almanzo Wilder that ends up stealing Laura Ingalls heart? He showed up for the last four seasons of the show and stayed on for the TV movies as well. Butler is best known for his roles as "Moondoggie" on The New Gidget as well as Buffy’s dad, Hank Summers, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He also narrated the docuseries, The Little House Phenomenon.
5. Jason Bateman- James Cooper Ingalls
Jason Bateman's first TV role ever was as the little orphan boy James Cooper who gets adopted by the Ingalls Family. He was on the show for a total of 21 episodes. Bateman has gone on to become a major star, best known for his starring role in the TV series Arrested Development and Ozark, as well as numerous films like Horrible Bosses, Zootopia, and Game Night. He's also become a respected director, directing numerous episodes for the TV shows he appears on.
6. Melissa Sue Anderson- Mary Ingalls
Mary was the oldest child in the Ingalls household, Anderson an unknown actress when she booked the part. The character really created a movement in pop culture for actors to play blind characters on the screen. On the show, Mary becomes a teacher at a school for the blind and marries a blind teacher, Linwood Boomer. This wasn't the story of the real-life Mary but it definitely made for good television.
Following the show, Anderson appeared in numerous TV shows like The Equalizer, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, CHiPs, and Murder, She Wrote. She released an autobiography inspired by her days as a child star, The Way I See It: A Look Back at My Life on Little House. She still books the occasional role but has been largely focused on her life as a mom and wife to a TV writer up in Canada.
7. Karen Grassle- Caroline Ingalls
Grassle was completely unknown when she booked the role of the Ingalls Matriarch, Caroline Ingalls. In fact, it was the first TV gig of her acting career ever. Following the show, she moved to Santa Fe and founded the Resource Theater Company where she served as artistic director. She later relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, and worked with the Actors Theatre of Louisville.
Outside of her theater career, Grassle has continued booking the occasional on-screen gig including TV shows like Murder, She Wrote and Hotel, and feature film Wyatt Earp starring Kevin Costner.
8. Shannen Doherty- Jenny Wilder
A young Shannen Doherty scored the role of Jenny, Almanzo and Laura's niece who they take in after Almanzo's brother dies. Jenny first shows up in the ninth season, Little House: A New Beginning, as well as the TV films.
Doherty went on to become a major star after her breakthrough role on the teen TV drama, Beverly Hills, 90210. She is also well known for starring in the supernatural show, Charmed.
9. Kyle Richards- Alicia Sanderson Edwards
A young Kyle Richards kicked off her days as a child actor playing the adopted daughter of Grace and Isaiah Edwards. In the ultimate "where are they now" twist, Kyle is currently a cast member on the Bravo series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has also continued acting over the years, appearing on numerous TV shows like Down to Earth, ER, Beverly Hills, 90210, 7th Heaven, and Days of Our Lives.
10. Katherine MacGregor- Harriet Oleson
Harriet was the gossip queen wife of Nels Oleson, proprietor of the local store in Walnut Grove. She was also Nellie's mother. MacGregor remained on the series for all nine seasons.
MacGregor decided she preferred the theater, so Little House was her last on-screen appearance. She regularly performed in LA as well as taught children's theater before passing away in 2018.
11. Linwood Boomer- Adam Kendall
Linwood Boomer played the role of the blind Adam Kendall, love interest and future husband of Mary Ingalls.
Following his time on the show, Boomer wrote a little show inspired by his life growing up as a middle child. That would be the FOX sitcom Malcolm in the Middle starring Bryan Cranston. Here is in the photo above with part of the cast when Cranston got his Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
12. Richard Bull- Nels Oleson
Nels and his wife Harriet were known for having a love/hate relationship, sometimes on display for shoppers at their store, Oleson's Mercantile. Nels was a staple character on the show, staying on all nine seasons as well as the post-show TV films.
Bull appeared on numerous shows after Little House including Hill Street Blues, Highway to Heaven, Designing Women, ER, and Boss. Sadly he passed away from pneumonia in 2014.

Before Yellowstone, Hauser appeared on a slew of various TV films and shows including Chase, Rogue, K-Ville, High Incident, and The Lizzie Borden Chronicles. He's an incredibly versatile actor playing everything from a cowboy to a police officer.

Who is the AT&T Girl?
If you have real tv (or crappy streaming services where they don’t take out the commercials for you), then you’re probably familiar with this girl’s face. But, like…who is she? She’s becoming the AT&T version of Progressive’s Flo or the infamous but well-loved “Jake from Allstate.” Here’s a TLDR for that AT&T girl.
Milana Vayntrub. Her full name is Milana Alexandrovna Vayntrub. But, the internet is calling her ‘Lily Adams, the AT&T Girl.’ She is an American actress and totally has more to offer to the world than the meme-ification she’s receiving online. Once, she was lined up to be a Marvel superhero, Squirrel Girl, for a New Warriors pilot. However, it never went anywhere.
She was born in Uzbekistan to a Jewish family when the country was still part of the social union in 1987. Her family relocated to Los Angeles, California. She started acting at 5 years old in Barbie TV commercials. Next, she was in E.R. at eight years old, then Days of Our Lives, and Disney’s Lizzie McGuire.
In college, she started taking classes at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre while studying at USC. She made a Youtube comedy talk show with a friend, Stevie Nelson, called Let’s Talk about Something More Interesting. It was so successful that they even landed guests like Matt Damon on the show. From here, she laded collaborations with CollegeHumor Originals. That was the launching pad for the series of AT&T commercials.
After the AT&T commercial, she landed a comedy sci-fi tv show, Other Space. She was also in Marvel Rising: Playing with Fire, an animated tv movie in 2019.
However, recently she has gotten some unwanted attention from the AT&T television commercial. Her acting was fine, the commercial probably sold a lot of whatever it was AT&T. It was selling at the moment, but more so, she’s gotten social media’s attention. And it’s focused on her body. On her social media’s post, she gets comments of the milk glass emoji, which we can essentially equate to online sexual harassment. She has responded to these comments in a live stream, saying:
“All of these milk and milkies comments…it hurts my feelings. It’s just dehumanizing, a little objectifying, and sad. It makes me sad. I know what you guys are trying to do is be funny and connect and get props from your friends, but it really bums me out.”
At least she tried. Now she’s limiting comments because no one really listened to her. Because, you know, the internet can be a dangerous place. She also said that she feels like she’s suffering from a form of sexual assault with those inappropriate comments. Poor Lily. Hopefully, she can scoot past this unscathed.

George Strait's Son, Bubba Strait, is a Country Songwriter and Rodeo Cowboy
Growing up with a dad who's the King of Country Music means you pretty much have to love country music. George Strait's son George Strait Jr, better known as Bubba Strait, has gone on to make his dad proud loving all things country including music.
Bubba is George and his wife Norma Strait's second child, born in 1981. Older sister Jenifer tragically passed away in a car accident when she was only 13 years old. Bubba attended college at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas which is where he really started getting into the rodeo. Following school, he even became a team roper with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). He even competed in the 2006 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo before his dad took the stage.
Outside of the rodeo, Bubba learned the ins and outs of country music from one of the greats (Dad) and has proven that he is quite the songwriter. He worked with Strait on multiple songs on his 2009 album, Twang. Bubba co-wrote “Living for the Night,” "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" and "He's Got That Something Special." He even got a solo writing cred for "Arkansas Dave." “Living for the Night” was actually the first single of Strait's career that he co-wrote. Written with Dean Dillon as well as son Bubba, the song went on to hit number 2 on the US Hot Country Songs Billboard.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcosBhBlOEs&feature=emb_title
We do know based off this clip of the father-son duo that Bubba has some singing skills.
He was also featured on the song "Heartland," the opening song for Strait's 1992 film Pure Country.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=a6-7j948l6M&feature=emb_logo
But instead of fully following in the footsteps of his country singer father, Bubba lives out in the Texas Hill Country with his longtime love, Tamara. They have two children together, Jilliann Louise Strait and George Harvey Strait III, who goes by Harvey. Though Tamara is now a realtor with Strait Luxury, she was a Silver Dancer with the San Antonio Spurs.
It seems like the sweet family is enjoying the quiet life in Texas, but hopefully, Bubba's days of writing songs with his dad aren't over!

Do Otters Make Good Pets?
Some people love caring for exotic animals, but could you imagine keeping otters as pets?

People will pay thousands of dollars for this exotic pet and some online trade encourages pet ownership.
However, owning an otter as a pet is not as easy as it might seem.

The Top States for Hog Hunting
With feral hog populations exploding all over the United States, there are a lot of great places to hunt hogs.
It is thought that the first hogs in the United States were introduced in the 1500s by Spanish explorers. Since then, the hog population has ballooned and their range has expanded dramatically thanks to their prolific breeding (supplemented by hogs that escaped from farms and those introduced specifically for hunting).
While their exact distribution and population are though to precisely pin down, biologists estimate that there could be as many as 6 million feral hogs living in 39 different states.
This is bad news for farmers and wildlife biologists, but it is great news for sportsmen looking for a place to do some wild boar hunting.
Be sure to visit walmart.com for all of your hunting needs.

The Difference Between Miracle Whip and Mayo
The Difference Between Miracle Whip and Mayo
Want to start a fight at the family supper table? Ask which is better: Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise? My family always stocked the fridge with Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise, but whenever I visited my grandparents, Miracle Whip was the only option in the fridge. Tangy and sweet, Kraft Miracle Whip is categorized as a salad dressing, completely different from real mayonnaise.
So what's the big difference between Miracle Whip Salad Dressing and mayonnaise? And can you substitute it for mayo in your chicken salad, potato salad, egg salad, and coleslaw? We're not going to debate which is better (there's room for both in our refrigerators), but we will share what makes these two condiments different.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock is easily one of the most likable women in Hollywood. She's one of those people who does a ton of good for the world but doesn't feel the need to broadcast it. She does it because it's the right thing to do. You probably didn't realize that she has literally donated millions of dollars to the Red Cross after horrible disasters like Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Harvey, and the Indonesian Tsunami.
She was the rom-com starlet we all needed starring in hit films like Miss Congeniality and The Proposal. The actress has developed a passionate fan base over the years and cemented herself as a Hollywood A-lister. While we're partial to her comedic roles, Bullock has also proven that is just as skilled in dramas, starring in everything from legal thrillers to playing an astronaut in space. The woman can quite literally do anything.
Here are some things you might not have known about the beloved actress.
1. Both of her children were adopted from Louisiana
After hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Bullock just had a feeling that was where she was going to find her child. A few years later she adopted a baby boy she named Louis Bardo Bullock. A few years later she adopted a 3-year-old girl who had been living in foster care, daughter Laila Bullock.
It's really a beautiful thing to see a prominent celebrity like Bullock be open about adoption and fully embracing her new role as a mother. You can tell how much she loves her children when she speaks about them in interviews.
"When I look at Laila, there's no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here," Bullock, who in 2010 adopted son Louis, told The Today Show. "I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time."
Though you rarely get to see her kids, Laila made a special appearance on Bullock's Mother's Day interview on Facebook's Red Table Talk.
2. She was once the highest-paid actress in the world
In 2010 and 2014 Bullock was the highest-paid actress not only in the country but the entire world. 2014 was a great year for the star as she had received Oscar buzz for the second time around for her role in the space thriller opposite George Clooney, Gravity. That year she was paid a whopping $51 million, which
3. She's dating a photographer
Bullock has been dating photographer Bryan Randall since 2015 when he was hired to take photos for Bullock's son's birthday party. The two keep their relationship private and the most you'll really see is a family outing to Disneyland together.
4. She had a dramatic ending to her marriage with Jesse James
Shortly after winning the Best Actress Oscar for her role in The Blind Side, it was revealed that Bullock's husband of five years had been unfaithful. Celeb relationships are hard because you're in the spotlight with endless paparazzi pics surfacing left and right. It was a painful experience for Bullock but it led her to adopt her son later that year as she and James had already started the adoption process which continued with after the breakup.
5. She's a genuinely nice person
Birdbox co-star Sarah Paulson told People Magazine that playing Bullock's sister in the thriller was incredibly rewarding. The actress knew everyone on the set and was incredibly gracious with her time.
“It was an incredible thing to see someone who is at the top of their game who has been at the top of their game for a long time, and who is always meeting with a kindness and awareness of other people,” Paulson said.
6. She's really into real estate
In addition to owning multiple properties in Los Angeles, the actress has really gotten into investing in properties around the country. She owns homes in Austin, New York City, New Orleans, Georgia, and apparently even Jackson Hole.
7. She has a restaurant in Austin
Apparently starring in Hope Floats really made Bullock love the state of Texas. Like fellow Hollywood star (and ex-boyfriend) Matthew McConaughey, Bullock spends a lot of time in Austin and even had office space for her production company set up. She was previously the owner of a fine dining restaurant in downtown Austin called Bess Bistro, which has since closed. But Walton's Fancy & Staple is still booming, also downtown. It is a lovely little deli and shop just down the street from where Bess used to be.
8. She's too lazy for social media
Being a major Hollywood star is stressful enough so we really can't blame Bullock for opting out of social media. Though it would be fun to get more glimpses of her family life behind the scenes, it's refreshing that she keeps her personal life the way it should be...personal.

5 Tips for Keeping Peacocks as Pets
Need some color in your life? Consider a pet peacock; that is, if you're up for the challenge.
Peacocks are rightfully called peafowl. (Peacock is the name for the male of the species.) Because green peafowl are endangered, it is not recommended to keep them as pets. The blue peafowl generally makes the best pet, as it is more adaptable and less aggressive than other types. There are a few things you should know about general care before bringing your peafowl home, though
1. Have enough land.
Peafowl require at least 80 square feet per bird. This space is important in order to prevent disease, as well as fighting among the birds. If you keep a male peacock, the pen should be large enough for him to display his long tail feathers without injury.
Peafowl have a loud, shrill cry that can aggravate neighbors, especially during mating season, so peafowl are obviously best kept in rural areas.
2. Keep them warm.
Wooden roosts are the best way to shield them from the cold. If you are raising peacock chicks from peafowl eggs, be sure to keep them in a heated area for four to six weeks after the baby peachicks start to hatch. You should keep the temperature over 95º F and lower it by about 5º F every week during the incubation period.
3. Keep them safe.
Predators like coyotes are the main concern for peafowl owners, especially those that are free-range. Tree houses are the best way to protect them from predators, and peafowl love to roost up high.
A large pen surrounded with chicken wire, with a wooden shelter or hen house with a nesting area, complete with a warming light, is a good example for a pet peacock habitat.
4. Feed them right.
The National Bird of India needs fresh water and be fed two handfuls of mixed grain every day. This grain can be purchased at most feed stores, and most game bird feed, like pheasant feed, is also fine for half to two-thirds of these omnivore's diet. Also include mixed greens like cabbage or kale.
5. Pay attention to their health.
Peafowl need to be dewormed every two months. Products like Piperazine or Ivermectin cattle wormer can do the trick.
Since peafowl are not common pets or farm animals, there is no established vaccine schedule for them, but avian pox, blackhead disease, and coccidiosis is always a concern. Ask your vet on how to prevent and treat these.
Other fun facts about peafowl?
What about male peafowl, peahens and courtship displays? The eye movements of female peacocks during courtship were mainly concentrated on the male's legs and lower feathers.
There are three species of peacocks: They are Pavo cristatus (Indian peacock), Pavo muticus (Java or green peacock), and Afropavo congensis (Congo peafowl).
Breeding season occurs from spring into early summer,
The peafowl dance honors many peacock species that originated in southeast Asia; it can be found at festivals across both India and Indonesia in places like Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and more!

Michael Kutcher: Who Is Ashton Kutcher’s Twin Brother?
Christopher “Ashton” Kutcher was born on February 7, 1978, weighing a healthy 10.5 pounds. To everyone’s surprise, his unexpected twin brother Michael Kutcher followed minutes after, dangerously underweight at under five pounds.
Michael likes to joke that Ashton “must have eaten everything while we were in the womb”. Even though he wasn’t expected to make it, Michael pulled through and went on to become an inspiring motivational speaker and Cerebral Palsy advocate. His fraternal twin brother Ashton, of course, would go on to become one of Hollywood’s most hilarious heartthrobs.
Ashton Kutcher’s twin brother, Michael Kutcher, leads a different life. Growing up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Michael was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age three. After going into cardiac arrest at age 13, Michael received a life-saving heart transplant.
Further hardship would follow in high school when the twin brothers’ parents divorced. Fueled by his own struggles, Michael Kutcher went on to found Reaching for the Stars, an organization dedicating to empowering children with disabilities and Cerebral Palsy. An inspiring public speaker for Cerebral Palsy awareness and promote organ donation, Michael has called Ashton his best friend. Today, Michael lives in Denver, Colorado, where serves as Assistant Vice President for Transamerica.
During a speech accepting the Robert D. Ray Pillar of Character Award, Ashton shared the life lessons his twin brother has taught him, saying, “I was born a twin and from the moment I came into this world I had to share it with someone. I shared every birthday, every Christmas, I shared my bedroom, I shared my clothes, I shared everything I had in this world and I didn’t know that there was another way because I always had my brother with me.”
Kutcher continued, “My brother was born with cerebral palsy and it taught me that loving people isn’t a choice and that people aren’t actually all created equal. The Constitution lies to us. We’re not all created equal. We’re all created incredibly unequal to one another, in our capabilities and what we can do and how we think and what we see. But we all have the equal capacity to love one another, and my brother taught me that.”

Joe Biden Proposed to Wife Jill Five Times Before She Said Yes
When President Joe Biden was sworn in as 46th President of the United States of America on January 20, 2021, the new First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, his wife of nearly 44 years, was by his side. The inauguration was a solemn and historic moment, to be sure, but the Bidens are used to facing all sorts of challenges together. When they met in 1975, Joe Biden was a young senator from Delaware, a widower, and a single father to two small children while Jill Jacobs Stevenson was a college senior who had just split from her first husband. It’s unlikely that they imagined that their love story and resulting partnership would eventually take them all the way to the White House.
Per Biography, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942, to Joseph Biden Sr., who worked cleaning furnaces and as a used car salesman, and Catherine Eugenia “Jean” Finnegan Biden. His family moved to Delaware when Joe was 13 years old. He attended the University of Delaware where he studied politics and history and played football.
On a spring break trip to the Bahamas, he met Syracuse University student Neilia Hunter and, in his words, “fell ass over tin cup in love — at first sight.” Biden started law school at Syracuse University in 1965 and he and his first wife Neilia married in 1966. They moved to Wilmington, Delaware in 1968 where Biden began practicing law and was elected to New Castle County Council. The Bidens had three children in three years—Joseph, who went by Beau, in 1969, Robert, who goes by Hunter, in 1970, and Naomi, who went by Amy, in 1971. In 1972 Biden ran a tight race for Senator against a popular Republican incumbent and won, becoming the fifth-youngest elected United States senator in the history of the United States at 29 years old.
In the spring of 1975, Joe Biden’s brother, a classmate of Jill’s, set up a blind date between Joe and Jill. In an interview with Vogue, Jill Biden remembered that first date: “I was a senior, and I had been dating guys in jeans and clogs and T-shirts, he came to the door and he had a sport coat and loafers, and I thought, ‘God, this is never going to work, not in a million years.’ He was nine years older than I am! But we went out to see A Man and a Woman at the movie theater in Philadelphia, and we really hit it off. When we came home…he shook my hand good night…I went upstairs and called my mother at 1:00 a.m. and said, ‘Mom, I finally met a gentleman.’ ”
Joe Biden reportedly proposed to Jill five times before she accepted. Jill Biden told Vogue she put him off so much “Because by that time, of course, I had fallen in love with the boys, and I really felt that this marriage had to work. Because they had lost their mom, and I couldn’t have them lose another mother. So I had to be 100 percent sure.” In his 2007 memoir Promises To Keep, Joe expressed particular gratitude for Jill, writing “She gave me back my life. She made me start to think my family might be whole again.”

Meet Juliana Daniell: Former Miss Supercross & Fitness Model
Juliana Daniell isn't exactly your typical woman. I mean, aside from being drop dead gorgeous, she's extremely versatile in the jobs that she holds. It's crafted quite a lucrative and successful career for her so far, and I feel as if she's only just getting started.
Although she had already been making a name for herself, Daniell's stardom grew even further within the last couple years after being named Miss Supercross back in 2016. Her resume is actually quite impressive, so we're going to take a look at what she's been involved with in her professional life, and you'll see just about all the proof you need to confirm her talent.
As of 2020, Juliana Daniell had an estimated net worth somewhere in the realm of $1 to 3 million. Absolutely, that's impressive, but how did she get up to that level of success? Well, it wasn't just one specific career path.
Originally born in Georgia, Daniell kickstarted her career as a swimmer for Virginia Tech. As she dedicated her time toward cardio and physical training in order to prepare, she developed a real passion for fitness and bodybuilding. This introduced her into a whole new world, and she went on to become a multiple-time Miss Bikini Olympia contestant, IFBB Bikini Pro competitor, and even a two-time Arnold Classic International invitee. Her beauty and determination hadn't gone unnoticed, as she's been on tons of different fitness magazine covers including FitnessRx.
To say she made a splash in Atlanta would be an understatement. Not only was she a rapidly growing model at this time, but she served as a cheerleader for the Atlanta Hawks NBA team, a Tomahawk team member for the Atlanta Braves in MLB, and a Blue Crew member for NHL's Atlanta Thrashers. With all the exposure, Daniell started to grow a decent sized following, but as she transitioned into motorsports work her fans began to multiply.
Juliana was first named Miss Supercross for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season in 2016. On top of being a spokeswoman for the sport, she also aided in different promotions both nationally and local on the championship's social media, held the 30-second sign before each main event, and met with the top-three finishers in each of the motocross races. No matter if Honda, Yamaha, or KTM was bring home a victory, she would be right there to interview the rider. For the next four years, she excelled at the position and drew in massive amounts of new viewers.
As for today, she may not be entirely with Supercross anymore, but you can still find her as a host on NBC sports. There's also an abundance of pics on her Instagram, and Facebook giving everyone something to look at, while also showing what she's currently up to. I give her credit for being such a go-getter, and handling the pressure like an absolute boss.

Tom Brady & Gisele Bündchen Are The Ultimate Power Couple
Tom Brady is one of the most celebrated athletes of all time. The 43-year-old quarterback had a remarkable tenure with the New England Patriots, skyrocketing to celebrity status while winning six Super Bowl rings in Boston.
The undisputed “Greatest of All Time” has accumulated a fortune throughout his playing career in the NFL, amassing more than $260 million in salary across his 21 years on the gridiron. And while most would assume an income like that would make Brady the bread-maker in his relationship, that isn’t the case.
Tom Brady’s wife Gisele Bündchen, a Brazilian supermodel, is reported to have a net worth of a staggering $400 million from her career in modeling. Astonishingly, her net worth is almost twice as large as that of her husband.
While Brady spent two decades in the spotlight of the sports world as the New England Patriots quarterback, Bündchen has long been a dominant force on the modeling scene. Gisele earned the title of highest-paid model in the world back in 2012, three years after she and Brady tied the knot.
According to Forbes, Bündchen made over $45 million in 2012 alone, and once again took home over $40 million from her modeling work in 2013. She's been on thousands of magazine covers for outlets like Vogue, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar and Cosmopolitan.
Quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bündchen got married in February 2009 and had two ceremonies in Santa Monica, California and Costa Rica, just over two years after they initially met on a blind date because of a mutual friend at the Turks & Frog Wine Bar in New York City.
Since the couple got together, they have continued their ascension to superstardom, but things could have been a lot different for the famed pair had they not linked up back in 2006, especially considering the esteemed dating history the signal caller boasts.
Prior to marrying Gisele, Brady was at work morphing the Pats into arguably the most dominant dynasty in the history of the NFL under head coach Bill Belichick. And while the three-time NFL MVP was wowing fans on ESPN and getting results on the field as quarterback of the New England Patriots, TB12 was also rather busy off of it.
Back in 2002, it was reported that Brady had a fling with 1997’s Playboy’s Playmate of the Year, Layla Roberts. The relationship didn’t last very long, and Roberts ended up marrying John Hilsinki in 2004.
Shortly after, Brady was rumored to have had a month-long romance with actress Tara Reid. Reid, while appearing on KIIS 1065’s Kyle and Jackie O’s radio show, admitted that she and Brady shared a kiss back in 2002.
Brady’s most renowned previous relationship (apart from his marriage to Gisele) was with Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynahan. The pair were together from 2004-2006 and, somewhat controversially, have a child together, John Edward Thomas Moynahan.
The 43-year-old is also rumored to have had flings with a few other notable women in the past, including former Patriots cheerleader Meghan Vasconcellos, Ivanka Trump, and Britney Spears.
Tom Terrific was spotted with several notable figures during his time as a bachelor, but the same can certainly be said for model Gisele Bündchen, who's done work for high-profile brands like Louis Vuitton.
Prior to meeting Brady, Bündchen, who is from Brazil, was famously in a five-year relationship with superstar Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio from 2000-2005 before they parted ways. Bündchen discussed her relationship and eventual breakup with DiCaprio in her autobiography, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, which is available on Amazon.
After DiCaprio, the former Victoria's Secret model was in a short relationship with professional surfer Kelly Slater from 2005-2006.
Also before she and Brady were introduced in New York, Bündchen had a short-lived fling with actor Chris Evans, renowned for his role as Captain America, in 2006.
While both Brady and Gisele were enjoying the bachelor life, the power couple eventually settled down together, and now have two children, son Benjamin Rein, 10, and daughter Vivian Lake, 7. They both call him "Papai," which means "dad" in Gisele's native language, Portugese.
The pair frequently take to social media with posts and pics of their family, offering glimpses into their home life during the NFL offseason, including during the coronavirus pandemic and COVID-19 outbreak.
Despite the various A-list celebrities that both the six-time Super Bowl champ and one of the world's highest-paid models had been spotted with in the past, he and Bündchen have now been happily married for 12 years.
Things haven't always been perfect, as Brady told Sirius XM host Howard Stern in 2020, but they continue to stay strong.
The power couple look primed to enter retirement together when the NFL quarterback eventually ends his career following his stint with Tampa Bay Buccaneers and playing against Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers. The Bucs signed Brady when he was a 42-year-old to a two-year, $50 million deal.
The Super Bowl LIII winner turned the Bucs into a playoff team in his first year in Florida, beat Rodgers in the NFC Championship Game and won Super Bowl LV against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on CBS.
It's still weird to not be calling him "Patriots quarterback Tom Brady." How many more Super Bowl titles does he have in him? That depends how long the best quarterback in NFL history plans on playing.

This Tom Selleck Blanket Can Warm Us Up Any Time
I may be young, but there are a few men much older than me that I would’ve risked it for in their prime. Those men are Sam Elliott, Robert Redford, and of course, Tom Selleck. Especially Tom Selleck. ‘Magnum, P.I.’ is a terrific TV show, but if you watched the CBS TV series strictly for the plot, you’re lying.
If your Tom Selleck crush has intensified recently because you’re binging ‘Blue Bloods,’ then you need this Tom Selleck blanket for some extra viewing pleasure.
Add this super soft blanket to your Amazon Wishlist today. It’s $46.99, and since it’s Amazon Prime-eligible, you can have this cozy blanket at your doorstep in two business days. I wonder what Thomas Magnum would have to say about this.
Well ladies, this is probably the closest we’ll ever get to cuddling with Tom Selleck, so take what you can get. You’re going to ditch all the rest of the sherpa blankets in the living room for this one.
With the pandemic going on, many people are saying, “Oh, catch up on rest!” “Self-care!” “Sleep when your body needs it!” And you know what? They’re right. Absolutely right. I can’t believe it took a Tom Selleck blanket to convince myself that a midday nap or lazy Tuesday afternoon was what I needed.
The blanket is machine washable. Trust me, I’d freak out too if this thing fell apart in the washer! Not only can you get cozy with a Tom Selleck fleece blanket, but you can get a throw pillowcase to match. We do need to stay home as much as possible anyway, so you might as well invest in some items that make lazy days on the couch much more enjoyable.

Cheyenne Ruether Made It Big as an Auto Body Tech
You have to love a woman that knows her way around a car. Especially when she does as good of work as Cheyenne Ruether at Welder Up. You've probably seen some of her work showcased on the Discovery Channel TV show, Vegas Rat Rods. Ruether eats, sleeps, and bleeds classic cars, and her upbeat attitude and natural draw to hot rods proves that.
Her passion is understandable when you consider how she grew up. Her father and brother owned an auto body shop, so she's been playing around with cars since the young age of six. She would regularly race, off-road, and demolish vehicles to later help repair them in the shop. Her interest actually grew so much that she joined an apprenticeship in 10th grade at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
She wasted no time and hopped into journeyman auto body tech, refinisher, body prep, and painting jobs to really perfect her craft. She eventually received her Red Seal Journeyman Certificate from NAIT, and helped restore some seriously cool rides along the way including a '70 Chevrolet Chevelle, '69 Chevy Camaro, and a '66 El Camino. She also personally bought a '67 Buick Skylark at the age of 18. Due to lack of funds, she couldn't go all out on it, but she still managed to make a custom front end, take it down to bare metal, craft her own clear coat, and create a unique looking hot rod.
Of course, her talent was showcased worldwide as she took on the role as a TV personality at the Las Vegas, Nevada shop alongside Steve Darnell and his crew of talented fabricators. While she did get a chance to work on some fun projects during this time, and she did appreciate her time spent there, she felt as if it didn't exemplify her true talent. After 12 episodes, she returned back home to care for her daughter and purse other opportunities.
Reuther has worked for a ton of different automotive shops and even helped build some cars that made it into SEMA. While we might not see her as often on television, there's no doubt she's still hard at work. Currently she works as the lead auto body tech and bodyshop manager at Nefarious Kustoms. Her instagram is also full of photos showing what project she's currently working on.
Ever since she got started working with cars, Cheyenne never looked back, and that's how it's supposed to be when you have a passion. Her dedication has turned her into an expert in the industry, and I'll tell you what, I can't wait to see what she creates next.

How Much Do MLB Umpires Make?
Working as a Major League Baseball umpire sounds like one of the worst jobs in the world. No job in professional sports comes with the immense pressure and requires quick decision-making skills than the men who call balls and strikes and decide whether runners are safe or out.
Not only do MLB umpires have to worry about making the same costly blunder Jim Joyce did to ruin Armando Galarraga's perfect game in 2010, but they must be concerned with the threat of being replaced by robot umpires and being constantly ridiculed by instant replay review.
Still, there are perks to calling MLB games. Traveling the country and working inside one of the 30 beautiful and historic MLB stadiums like New York's Yankee Stadium and San Francisco's Oracle Park are pretty attractive duties. I mean, imagine going to the World Series because it's your job.
Baseball umpires must endure a long road of gaining minor league experience before earning the call-up to the big leagues. According to MLB.com, there are only 70 Major League umpires working in 17 crews of four plus two national rovers. Umpiring isn't easy, but it's worth it for those who reach the top level.
Let's dig into how one becomes an MLB umpire and earns as much as hundreds of thousands of dollars calling games.
One does not just decide they want to be a MLB umpire.
First, you must meet the physical requirements: 20/20 vision, reasonable body weight, quick reflexes and good coordination.
Most start out with some sort of high school baseball or travel baseball experience. The first step, however, is to enroll in one of the nation's two minor-league approved umpiring schools: the Harry Wendelstedt Umpire School or the Minor League Baseball Umpire Training Academy in Florida.
It'll cost you about $2,500 to enroll in one of these schools. The caveat is that only the top 15 or 20 percent of these umpire hopefuls are handpicked to partake in the Minor League Baseball Advanced Course in February. Only a select few from that group are then assigned to call games in rookie ball or Class A short-season leagues. From there, minor league umpires must work their way through the system like players do.
Some minor league umpires must spend a decade as a home plate umpire in the lower ranks before sniffing a Major League game. According to MiLB.com, these umpires make as little as $2,000 per month and as much as $3,900 per month in Triple A, which is still only about $20,000 per year considering Class AAA seasons run for less than half a year.
According to Bleacher Report, minor league umps also receive a per diem as much as $66 per day.
Professional baseball umpires don't make quite as much as the MLB player minimum salary, but they're still well off financially.
According to Career Trend, the starting rookie umpire salary is $150,000 and the more experienced umpires and senior umpires (like Joe West) rake in as much as $450,000 per year. That may seem like a lot for a regular season that lasts only six months long, but it's reasonable after factoring in Spring Training, the postseason and All-Star games.
The perks for professional umpires are impressive, too.
MLB pays for their first-class flights. They get four weeks of vacation during the regular season, which is a lot until you realize how mentally and physically draining the job is. Umpires can also earn more money by working in the postseason if they're selected for it.
According to Bleacher Report, MLB umpires make more per year than officiating crew members from the NFL and NHL. The average big league umpire makes $235,000, while the average salary for NFL referees is $188,322. The highest-paid refs are in the NBA, where the average is $375,000.
However, divide the amount of games MLB umpires must work and that number looks less appealing. NFL referees haul in more than $11,000 per game worked while MLB's officials take home less than $1,500 per game.
That's not a half-bad paycheck for traveling the United States and working baseball games.
While plans to start the 2020 MLB season amidst the coronavirus pandemic were discussed, MLB and the umpires' union agreed to a 30 percent salary reduction for the 2020 season, according to USA Today Sports' Bob Nightengale.
Some of the league's baseball players weren't happy with the MLB and MLBPA's discussions about their own pay cuts, but at least umps agreed to get America's ballparks back open.
When playoff games were in full swing on ESPN and FOX, you better believe baseball fans were curious about the salary range of the umpires they disagree with.

Inside Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s New ‘Normal Life’
In a January announcement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, revealed plans to step down from their royal duties on March 31, 2020. Through a statement, they noted, “We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
By abruptly relinquishing their royal duties, the Duchess and the Duke of Sussex hope to create a fresh start while preserving their son’s respect for the royal tradition. The BBC reports that the remaining royal family is disappointed and hurt by their decision, which was apparently not disclosed to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, or the other senior royals until the couple announced it on Instagram.
Here is an excerpt: “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
Harry would have been sixth in line to inherit the crown, behind Prince Charles, Prince William, and his three children. The post continues, “We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.”
After stepping down from their position, Megan and Harry moved to California. They stayed in Los Angeles until finding their future home: a nine-bedroom mansion estimated to be sold for $14 million. They remain in contact with the rest of the royal family via zoom. Last year, the couple welcomed their son Archie into the would. Unfortunately, only a year late, the Duchess of Sussex had a miscarriage. She wrote about the tragedy in a moving opinion piece in The New York Times. “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” Meghan said.
Now, the couple and their son Archie are getting ready to celebrate the holidays in the U.S. for the first time ever. Of course, Christmas plans for all the British royal family members are going to be a little different this year thanks to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Back in London, traditional events like Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace have been canceled as Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip isolate at Windsor Castle to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Meghan and Harry are planning to spend the holiday with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, and baby Archie in Montecito. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and the Cambridge children will celebrate at Anmer Hall in Norfolk. According to People, Meghan and Harry will celebrate their first Christmas in their U.S. family home, in their new neighborhood of Montecito, California. As for Kate and William, a source told the magazine they “are waiting to hear [about U.K. government guidelines] just like everyone else” to determine whether they can visit the Queen. The source added, “The children miss their great-granny, but it’s the same rules for them as everyone.”

Frank Caliendo’s Sports Impressions Are All Belly-Laughing Funny
Frank Caliendo has a gift, and it cannot be duplicated. Other comedians have tried and some have succeeded, especially during their stand-up shows, on podcasts, or at comedy clubs, but nobody does impressions like Caliendo. From politicians to sports figures, the list is as long as it is amazing.
For the past 20 years, Caliendo’s high energy act solidified himself as the greatest living impressionist. He had successful runs on MADtv, Fox NFL Sunday, Comedy Central Presents, and Frank TV on TBS. He’s been featured on the nation’s premiere radio and television talk shows, too, including The View, Conan O'Brien, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
His entire life has been about comedy, including releasing six solo CDs, and there’s no sign of him slowing down anytime soon.
Impressionist Frank Caliendo knows how to push buttons, especially when it comes to sports stars. He first hit it big with his impersonation of John Madden on The Late Show with David Letterman and his career hasn’t been the same since.
Caliendo, who is from Chicago, Illinois, has done impressions of broadcasters John Madden, Jon Gruden, Charles Barkley, Mel Kiper, Adam Schefter, and Stephen A. Smith. All were performed to perfection. There’s a new one to add to the list: Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
The television sketch comedy veteran delivered a hilarious public service announcement as Jones.
“I’ve been thinking about it a lot in the shower. I have been. I have been. With all that’s been going on in the world, some things need to change. They do. They do. For example, the five-second rule. Six months ago, if I had dropped a slice of pizza on the floor, I would have picked it up, if it were under five seconds, dusted it off and eaten it. Or given it to somebody else to eat. But as of right now, I would not eat that pizza, and neither should you.”
What other voices has Frank Caliendo done? Let’s take a look at some of his best work from live shows, pregame shows, interviews with talk show hosts, and other comedy specials.
His other top impressions and impersonations include Morgan Freeman on ESPN, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Dr. Phil, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Robin Williams and Jay Leno from The Tonight Show.
The hype is real. Frank Caliendo is incredible.

Justin Verlander’s Supermodel Wife Kate Upton Helped Save His Career
Justin Verlander has one of the most successful MLB careers of any starting pitcher in recent memory, enjoying memorable stints with the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros.
Perhaps the greatest success of Verlander's career, however, came off the baseball diamond.
The veteran pitcher settled down and got married to stunning supermodel Kate Upton, forming one of sports' most recognizable power couples.
Justin Verlander and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton reportedly met in 2012 when they were filming a commercial and hit it off.
The pair began dating casually before eventually tying the knot in 2017 at a church in Tuscany, Italy. In 2018, the couple welcomed their first child, Genevieve Upton Verlander.
Their relationship has not been without controversy, however. In 2014, Verlander's phone was hacked, and nude photos of the pair were leaked onto the Internet. It was already a low point in Verlander's life, as he had been battling a shoulder injury at the time.
Upton told Bleacher Report the incident helped them grow stronger as a couple, and Verlander credits Upton with saving his baseball career.
In 2020, Verlander announced that he and Upton would be making donations to coronavirus charities amid the pandemic, aiming to offer assistance to first responders and healthcare workers who have put their lives on the line to combat the outbreak of the virus.
Justin Verlander made his Major League Baseball debut in 2002 as a member of the Detroit Tigers.
As a rookie in 2003, Verlander won 17 games and earned Rookie of the Year honors. He made his first of eight All-Star teams in 2004.
Verlander was the Tigers' ace for 13 years, and was a Cy Young Award winner in 2011, as well as taking home the AL MVP. Verlander dealt with various injuries in the latter half of his Tigers tenure, and one ESPN writer even suggested his best role may be coming out of the bullpen as a reliever in order to increase his longevity.
Verlander disagreed, and finished runner-up for the Cy Young award in 2016.
In 2017, Verlander was traded to the Houston Astros in a blockbuster deal.
Back in the playoffs, Verlander was dealing and made two starts against the Boston Red Sox in the American League Divisional Series. He then made two more starts against the New York Yankees in the ALCS, before helping take down the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2017 World Series.
During the World Series, Verlander recorded 14 strikeouts through 12 innings of work, capping off a heroic postseason for the Astros' ace.
Verlander and the Astros made it back to the World Series in 2019, but were defeated by the underdog Washington Nationals in a shocking upset.
The Astros and Verlander agreed to a contract extension in the 2019 offseason that would pay him $66 million over two years. Unfortunately, Verlander was sidelined after his first start in 2020 and was forced to undergo Tommy John surgery.
No matter what his loving wife Kate Upton will be right there to support him.

Bette Midler and Her Husband Were Married on a Whim by an Elvis Impersonator
On paper, Bette Midler’s marriage to her husband Martin Von Haselberg wouldn’t strike you as one destined for long-term success. In fact, their nuptials had all the ingredients for a failure: The German artist and Honolulu, Hawaii native had only known each other for six weeks when they decided to get married at the “spur of the moment”. They eloped to Las Vegas and were married at 2 a.m. by an Elvis impersonator for $45. And (allegedly) no pictures were taken.
“He had a tape of Nino Rota music from Juliet of the Spirits and we walked down the aisle and the Elvis impersonator did the ceremony and we walked out,” the Academy Award-winning actress recalled on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. “And the funny thing is that there were no cell phones, of course, in 1984 and we had no pictures.”
But 36 years later, the Hollywood couple is still going strong. And it turns out, someone did take photos of their wedding. Five years ago, the pair received a surprise in the mail: A photo of them from the fateful 1984 ceremony. “Apparently, there was a photographer there,” the Hocus Pocus star said. “When the Starlight Chapel closed its doors about five years ago, they sent us the pictures. We had never seen the pictures [before].”
Bette Midler met German commodities trader, actor, and artist Martin Von Haselberg for the first time in 1984. He is best known for being a member of The Kipper Brothers, a performance art duo.
Von Haselberg has been with his lady through the thick and thin of her three-decades-long career — from her rise to stardom on Broadway and New York to her conquering of the silver screen in movies like Down and Out in Beverly Hills, The Rose, and For the Boys. He was there to celebrate when she won multiple Oscars, Grammy Awards, Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, and Tony Awards. But perhaps most importantly of all, he was there for Midler as the two of them raised their daughter, Sophie.
Born in Los Angeles, Sophie Von Haselberg is an entertainer, just like her folks — you’d probably know her from Woody Allen’s movie Irrational Man. last year, Sophie just got hitched herself! Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Midler’s daughter was married in a small ceremony. Midler described the wedding in an interview with Manila Bulletin. “It was a pandemic wedding, a very small wedding, and her husband, her new husband, hasn’t had a haircut in three months,” the “Wind Beneath My Wings” singer said. “So she looked online on how to cut hair and she gave him a pretty good haircut. I mean, that is the world we are living in now.”

The Brawl at the 1979 Daytona 500 Put NASCAR on the Map
The 1979 Daytona 500 was historic for a number of reasons. Richard Petty won the race — his sixth win at the Daytona 500 — but the victory was overshadowed by a collision and fistfight at Daytona International Speedway between some of the most popular race car drivers of that time.
It was the 21st Daytona 500 in NASCAR history, and it was the first time a 500-mile race was televised from start-to-finish. CBS Sports aired the race, and millions of viewers tuned in for one of the most memorable finishes in the NASCAR history. It wasn't Petty's win, though, that made the race so memorable. As it turns out, a wreck on the final lap led to a scrap between Cale Yarborough and Donnie and Bobby Allison. And the rest is motorsports history.
Cale Yarborough and Donnie Allison were battling for the lead on the final lap of the NASCAR Cup Series race when the two collided into the Turn 3 wall on the backstretch. Both Yarborough's stock car and Allison's car went into the infield grass as Petty held off now NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Darrell Waltrip for the checkered flag. As Petty started to celebrate his win in victory lane, a fight broke out between Yarborough and Allison.
Donnie's brother Bobby joined in the fight, and the Yarborough vs. the Allison brothers scrap was caught on camera as viewers from all across the country witnessed the brawl.
Both Allison and Yarborough blamed each other for the last-lap fight, and both NASCAR drivers ended up getting fined for letting their tempers get the better of them.
The 1979 Daytona 500 was one of the first major events that garnered nationwide attention for NASCAR. The story of the fight even made the front page of The New York Times. It's no surprise, then, that the fateful day in Daytona Beach, Florida is considered, by auto racing fans and experts alike, to be what ultimately put NASCAR on the map.

What Happened to William “The Refrigerator” Perry?
Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman William "The Refrigerator" Perry has one of the most recognizable stories and nickname in the history of the NFL.
The first round pick in the 1985 NFL Draft, who had just won a National Championship with the Clemson Tigers, became a household name in his rookie season in Chi Town, but not only for his work in the trenches on defense.
While his career saw him reach monolithic levels of fame, the NFL player has endured immense struggles with his health since he retired from professional football.
In his rookie season in the league, William Perry, an Aiken, South Carolina native and Aiken High School graduate, wasn't an every down starter on the Bears defense. Instead, the team had crafted an entirely different and unique role for the big fella.
Inspired by Bill Walsh of the San Francisco 49ers, Bears head coach Mike Ditka wanted to utilize The Fridge in Chicago's ground attack.
As fellow defensive lineman and Perry's teammate in the trenches, Dan Hampton, put it, “They ran a big, fat offensive guard in the backfield against us last year. We thought we’d run a big, fat defensive lineman against them."
Perry received two carries in the Week 6 game against the Niners, though he didn't make much of them.
In Week 7 of the regular season, Perry lined up in the backfield as a running back and was handed the ball on the goal line against the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field. He would bulldoze his way into the end zone, becoming the first 300+ pounds player to score an NFL touchdown.
Fast forward a few months and the Bears were gearing up for its Super Bowl XX matchup with the New England Patriots. In what can best be described as a morale-crippling blowout, the Bears, who held a 37-3 lead in the third quarter, decided to rub some salt in New England's wound. From 1st & Goal, Ditka once again called Perry's number, and The Refrigerator answered the call with another one-yard touchdown run, steamrolling past Patriots linebacker Larry McGrew.
The Fridge's touchdown-scoring antics resulted in a handful of endorsement deals and other tickets to fame coming his way, including an appearance in the music video for the song "Super Bowl Shuffle."
While Perry wouldn't get many more rushing attempts throughout his career, he would still lineup on offense as a fullback and help block for Bears star RB Walter Payton. Perry would stick around in Chicago for seven seasons after his rookie year and ended up retiring as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 1994 after a nine-year career.
Unfortunately, William Perry's life in retirement has been a challenge.
The former All-American football player struggled to keep his weight down once he was no longer actively suiting up on game day. Reports claim his weight reached a dangerous 450 pounds. He was soon diagnosed with diabetes and was found to have blood circulatory issues in his legs. He was then diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome in 2008, a condition in which one's immunes system begins attacking its own nerves, sometimes resulting in paralysis.
The condition saw Perry lost a gargantuan amount of weight, all the way down to an unhealthy 190 pounds, scarcely resembling the man he once was.
In 2011, ESPN revealed that Perry was an alcoholic and that during his playing career the Bears had arranged for him to check into a rehab facility. Now, Perry has lost most of his fortune that he made from playing in the NFL. Per Sports Illustrated, his Super Bowl ring was auctioned for $200,000 of which Perry received absolutely zilch.
His brother, Michael Dean Perry, the one who found a bed-ridden William weighing 190 pounds, has gone on record to say he believes his brother is also suffering from "traces of CTE."
Perry is currently residing in an assisted-living facility where his health can more easily be monitored.

Did you know that Joe Biden toilet paper actually exists?
We all know someone who would love to use Joe Biden toilet paper. Well, the election is over, but that doesn’t mean your liberal and conservative friends are done fighting on Facebook. I think it’s time people stop fighting online and get creative with their political stances.
Amazon has a shit ton (no pun intended) of political gag gifts for everyone. Start pranking your friends on the opposite side of the political spectrum with gag gifts instead of bickering online. Let the prank wars begin.
We found Trump toilet paper online a while back, and to no surprise, we came across Joe Biden toilet paper and figured someone would love it as well. The prank toilet paper is available for only $11.75, plus it’s Amazon Prime eligible.
The novelty toilet paper is a great gag gift for Democrats. Heck, just because someone isn’t a Republican doesn’t mean they won’t use this bathroom paper. I’m sure if Biden and Harris don’t issue another stimulus check within the next six business days, they’ll be wiping their butt with this bath tissue as well.
It’s probably not high-quality or ultra-soft like 2-ply Charmin, so don’t be surprised if you have President Joe Biden dingleberries hanging from your bottom. Oh well. When you need to go, choose Joe, right?
I wonder if Trump left this funny toilet paper in the White House. We’ll never know.
Grab some Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Nancy Pelosi toilet paper too.
