014 - Of Drowning and being Welcome
April 4, 2021 - Story of nearly drowning, saving a life, and feeling appreciated, appreciative, and how feeling thankful for being put in the right place at the right time but maybe not being thankful for much more than that... maybe a grammar problem with this sentence.

Legend of Zelda Treasure Hunt
Feb 21, 2021 - Many years ago I made this rather lengthy and involved treasure hunt for my girls. Since we are at the Zelda 35th Anniversary, I've decided to re-upload this, but to Rumble of course, and strip away the music I got from YT, leaving in only songs written/performed by people I know.
NOTE: there is one section of this where I messed with the audio to focus on my daughters while maintaining reasonable anonymity. During this part the song that played in the actual treasure hunt (and therefore appears in the video) was the first one below:
CREDITS:
The Mickmad - Enter the Temple of Time. Since it was part of the hunt I didn't remove it but I take no credit for that very ominous and cool rendition of that theme by Koji Kondo
Bridget Burns - Violet Sky <- The darlin who guests many of my dreams wrote this pleasant melody when we were dating.
Kara's Lusca - Un Pocco, Chapped Lips <- they're an awesome folky group. BTW, fav song of theirs didnt fit in video moodwise else I'd have included for sure ("Mr. Wolf")
Lastly, thanks to Miyamoto san and Nintendo for providing some very cool source material off of which I shared many an adventure.

Shattering a Wine Glass w/Sound
This is a presentation I made to show how I broke wine glass just with sound. I'm sure this is to unsafe to ever recommend (for liability reasons, who am I kidding, right) but if you were to research how to do it, I can't imagine with a similar budget your steps wouldn't differ tooooo much.
How NOT to secure a waterproof camera prior to jumping
Shot this with an old waterproof camera years ago on the American River in NorCal below Beacroft trail. Accidentally let go of it in the whitewater and it fell to the bottom of the river. By luck it flipped right-side up and some fish came to check it out. It also eventually ran out of data while filming so I trimmed it but it was on the bottom of the river for maybe 40 min or so and while rated for about 12 feet was clearly deeper. :(
It still worked for years after that but made "noises" when zooming
