Aerial footage captured by a drone shows how the Murray River Mouth expanded during the floods, effectively handling the enormous quantities of water flowing into the ocean. The flooding had a positive impact on the environment by purging the Murray of saltwater, facilitating desalination, and enhancing the aquatic and avian ecosystems throughout the lakes and sanctuaries.
