"we should find common cause across effectively all ideological lines"
"I actually think the Republic is in jeopardy and the idea that we should find common cause across effectively all ideological lines--every patriot should be aligned with the idea that whatever our best move is to right the ship of state and to expel those who have captured it, that ought to be what we do; and at the point that the crisis over, we can go back to fighting about our ideological differences--they do exist, but they are minor compared to the question about whether the nation and the West survive." --Bret Weinstein

Trump still refuses to admit that COVID vaccines were a mistake
Trump spent all of 2021 boasting that we all should be THANKING him for "that beautiful shot." Now that the shots are proving not to be as "safe and effective" as Trump assured everyone that they were, he is refusing to acknowledge that they were a mistake. There is ZERO evidence that Trump has learned any lessons at all regarding the botched response that was given (on his watch) to a virus with a fatality rate of less than half of one percent for those who were below the average age of life expectancy. Trump is either deliberately turning a blind eye to the fact that the threat of COVID was magnified by the overuse of unreliable testing and through inaccurate coding of deaths, or he has come to believe the lies himself and no longer has the ability to see the truth. Either way, he is not a man whom we should ever again trust to lead our nation through a crisis.

RFK Jr - “There are worse things than dying, and living like a slave is one of those"
"Dr. Bret Weinstein and Tucker Carlson discuss RFK Jr.’s statement that “there are worse things than dying, and living like a slave is one of those.” Weinstein explains how the assault on our freedoms has created a “dream team” of courageous rebels willing to speak out against oppression. But their victory, Weinstein says, depends on people’s willingness to stand up and speak out—even when it’s not in their personal interest to do so." - Kennedy24.com

Is your loyalty to Trump or to your country?
To what (or to whom) are you pledging your allegiance? I realize that there is a lot more to unpack than what I briefly touch upon in this video, but I think that what is taking place in our nation right now merits asking the question of whether our loyalty lies more in the idea of saving Trump than it does in saving America.
To be clear, my commentary is focused on Trump and holding HIM to account, but I only mean to focus on him as the example, because that is where most people have set their gaze. The truth is that there are MANY besides Trump who also need to be held to account; and those who understand the point that I am trying to make will also see that I am calling upon US to be held to account as well for our own failures.
I don't think that what we are doing is smart. What is that quote that is often attributed to Einstein--something about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? We continue to do the same things over and over again when we fail to go to the heart of the matter and to truly examine the ways that those on the left are keeping us locked into THEIR system and playing by THEIR rules. I believe that continuing to do that is the reason that we never see anyone held to account. It seems to me that those on the left know exactly how to keep us under their control by "triggering" us with accusations against Trump. I think they know that Trump's response to their attacks on him will assist them in their efforts to keep everyone playing by THEIR rules.
How many rounds of this is it going to take before we wise up and respond differently? We've been on the same path for YEARS. We need to be more honest than we have been. We are having the very same discussions today--largely, with many of the same culprits--as we were having even prior to the election of Trump in 2016. Trump promised that he would "drain the swamp" and hold people to account. But he didn't do it. Instead, Trump has continued to reward those who are known to be bad actors. He let Hillary off the hook. He kept Comey (who also let Hillary off the hook) on as his FBI Director--and look how well that worked out for us. There is a lot of evidence (which I have discussed often in other articles and videos) which would suggest that Trump hasn't learned his lesson and would still--to this day--not hold people to account as he promises he will. To be sure, when Trump is good he is very, very good; but when he is bad he is horrid. Trump's demand for "loyalty" from those whom he believes he has helped should be a red flag to us, for such demands have nothing whatsoever to do with "Making America Great Again." Why should we not also believe that Trump expects the same kind of loyalty from US as he does from those in politics whom he speaks nastily of if they fail in their faithfulness to him?
I'm attaching a video below that I hope will help to clarify the point that I'm trying to make. Maria Bartiromo says in this clip that "This isn't about Trump." It shouldn't be. But we aren't responding as if it isn't. Bartiromo also seems taken aback by how those on the left don't even try to hide their hypocrisy, but instead revel in it and put it on full display. And why shouldn't they? We have shown them time and time again that we will let them do it, with no real consequences other than a wagging of a finger and an incessant chorus of whining, which I think must only sound as music to the ears of those who know that it means that they are still the ones establishing the rules of the game. If you think the rules of the game have anything to do with the Constitution anymore, then I think you are delusional. Our nation abandoned that long ago and we are only fooling ourselves when we pretend otherwise.
https://youtu.be/UiwWYinkJ9Q ("John Durham drops major bombshells during Trump-Russia collusion probe hearing")
It is interesting that it is said in this clip that the left doesn't even seem to recognize their own hypocrisy. I think they are well aware of it and that the joke is on us. I think that they are well aware of the fact that conservatives are the ones who are not truly aware of their own hypocrisy. We aren't being smart when we simultaneously complain that our elections have been stolen from us, and yet--as is stated multiple times in this clip from Fox--we continue to think that the answers to restoring justice are to be found in electing the right people. We are fools to rely upon our corrupt election system to work for us. And, yet, that IS the dominant and conflicting narrative that we have been adhering to for at least as long as shortly after January 2021, when we chose to accept the fraud and started sporting our "Trump 2024" merch. Don't think for one second that doing so didn't send a clear message to the left that we had accepted the fraud and would move on from it. That is exactly what we did. And we still have not learned our lesson, it seems, for it isn't just on Fox News that these narratives are to be found. The idea that the answers lie in electing the right people permeate ALL conservative media sources, both mainstream and alternative.
There has been a lot of attention given by many lately to Solzhehenitsyn's essay, "Live Not By Lies." In that essay, Solzhehenitsyn warns us to "Never knowingly support lies!" But isn't that what we are doing when we live by the false narratives that don't permit us to see that it is a fool's errand that we undertake when we pretend that we can find fairness where it does not exist? We often make fun of those on the left, thinking them to be idiots for being so blatantly hypocritical in their actions and in their policies, but I think that many of them know exactly what they are doing. And we fall for it every time. When will we stop parading around as sheep in lion's clothing? When will we get smart enough to stop playing by the rules of the left?

Why has Trump not called out the dangerous propaganda targeting conservatives?
"You are fake news!" Conservatives, myself included, applaud Trump when he calls out the fact that the mainstream media is full of lies and intentions to mislead. But what about the propaganda narratives targeted to conservatives that have become so deeply rooted in our nation? Why has Trump never spoken out about the deceitful narratives that have kept Americans complacent by convincing them that Trump was "in control?" The messages being put out by such propaganda are dangerous to our nation; yet, instead of warning conservatives that they are being led astray by such narratives, Trump has often even encouraged people to buy into them. Is it because he is the hero of those fictions? Many are putting their trust in a guy who they have cheered on for calling out the fake news of the mainstream media, when the same guy hasn’t uttered a peep about the dangerous propaganda that has deceived so many into believing for the past 2+ years that he had some sort of a plan that they should trust. (And if he does have a plan, then it's a HORRIBLE one.)
Conservatives who have been paying attention should be calling upon Trump to explain why it is that he has never warned conservatives about the globalist/communist Q-related propaganda that they are the target audience of. A lot of the narratives have taken hold in some rather terrifying ways. Technocrat globalists (like Yuval Noah Harari) told us outright that nations could be defeated through technology/social media. The databases of collected information that they have on people allows them to know exactly what people want to hear, and those Q-related propaganda sources (which sound like China and Russia might be behind them) are very effective at getting many conservatives to believe them. In difficult times, the comfort of a lie is often preferable to having to face the harsh reality of the truth.
I have lost friendships because I have attempted to show to others the proof that those sources are full of deceit. Indeed, they are quite often blasphemous as well. People who are following any sources referencing Q are being taken in. And I know many people personally who have been. I was sent a video the other day put out by some “SGAnon” (not the first time people I know have forwarded me his videos), and I was appalled to hear him say that, in order to right the wrongs of history, Ukraine, Baltic States, and portions of Finland will soon be returned to Russia, AND that Taiwan will be reunited with China. What the hell? Messaging which conditions people to become more comfortable with globalist and communist ideas are parading around disguised as "MAGA." And it's working. So many conservatives will choose to shun those who don't buy into the propaganda before they will ever abandon those stories that bring them comfort. Believe me. I know what a pariah one is made to be for speaking out against the propaganda. But I guarantee you that those ideas don't have a damn thing to do with "Making America Great Again."
I am alarmed that so many conservatives have been consuming this propaganda like gangbusters. I know they are, because I keep encountering from so many the same talking point “defenses” of Trump which are straight out of the propaganda sources. Remember those videos of everyone in the mainstream media parroting the exact same lines, word-for-word, and in chorus? You could make the exact same type of video of conservatives now, for so many are parroting propaganda talking points that have taken hold. And, just as it is with the mainstream media, what they are parroting is a distortion of the truth.
It’s all being done so effectively, for there are multiple sources for the propaganda, and many of them have been legitimatized by having gained some advertising and interviews with people that conservatives trust. It says a lot about where we are when so many conservatives are following messaging which is conditioning people to accept the idea that Taiwan should be reunited with China. That same video also conditions people to accept the idea of provisional military control for half a year or so. But, hey, it’s all gonna be for your own good! I wouldn't worry about any of this propaganda if I didn't personally know so many who follow it and believe it as gospel truth. (As I said, I've lost many friendships for speaking out against it.) If we WERE to be told that we were going to have to accept some sort of global military control, I personally know people who would cheer it! They would say, "Yes! It's finally happening!" People are being led like sheep to slaughter, and they don’t even realize it.
So I’ll ask again—why has Trump not called out the dangerous propaganda that has led so many to believe in this globalist/communist-flavored plan that they should trust?

Was Trump's response to the plandemic justified?
You may ask about the coronavirus, which is very well under control in our country."
"The people are getting better. They're all getting better."
"There is a very good chance that you're not going to die. It's just the opposite. You're talking about one or two percent; whereas in the other case [ebola], it was a virtual hundred percent."
"They have studied it [coronavirus], they know very much. In fact, we are very close to a vaccine."
This is from a press conference that Trump spoke at in India in February 2020. I will never claim, as many others do, to know what thoughts or feelings guided Trump's actions throughout the plandemic. I can only speculate and draw conclusions based upon what I know. Trump usually says that is is HE who deserves credit for the COVID-19 vaccines, but he has at times said that "we" did this. In a way, he is right. Where do you think the billions of dollars that were given to vaccine manufacturers to fast-track that vaccine came from? And do you think that the trillions spent on stimulus to address our country's shutdown was "free money?" No. Just as it is with our elections, our government screwed us over and then sent us the bill. Though we were never asked, that was our part in it, as was our willingness to go along with the things our government was asking us to do that just never made good sense
Was Trump's response to the plandemic justified? In February 2020, the taxpayer money to vaccine companies hadn't really started flowing yet, BUT we know that the plan for a COVID-19 virus was in the works and that some of our taxpayer dollars were already going toward the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. As I said, I cannot pretend to know things I don't or to know Trump's thoughts and feelings on any of this. But I do have a lot of questions, and I think I'm not the only one who does. Was Trump just getting ahead of his skis when he blurted out in this February 2020 press conference that we were "very close to a vaccine?" What we do know is that a vaccine was being discussed by Trump and Fauci at least as early as 2020. There is evidence of that. Trump said that at that time the virus was essentially nothing to worry about, but also that a vaccine for it was under way. At the time of this press conference, Trump speaks of only a couple billion that had been put toward addressing the coronavirus--which he acknowledges is not a real threat. But a couple of billion wouldn't have gotten us to the point of being "very close to a vaccine," so that comment from Trump might have been hyperbole. I don't know. But I do know that Trump said that in February 2020, government funding was starting to be put toward a COVID-19 vaccine, and we know that Fauci has stated that the decision to make a coronavirus vaccine was made on January 10, 2020.
By May 2020, when Trump announced Operation Warp Speed, we had already "flattened the curve." For one brief blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, people started cautiously going out again and being less afraid. And then BAM! Mask mandates, social distancing, and plexiglass barriers arrived on the scene. Those actually came AFTER the "flattening of the curve." And Trump, who had previously been ridiculed by the media for not wearing a mask CAVED and wore one publicly around July 2020. And THEN, probably to cover for the embarrassment of the well-earned shaming Trump received for finally caving to the mask, the Trump administration started putting out the messaging that wearing a mask was the "patriotic" thing to do. No--it was the idiotic thing to do!
So why has Trump not been honest with us? No one is perfect. I get that. And we all make mistakes. Some mistakes are bigger than others. Trump is not the only one responsible, that's for sure. Every elected official who went along with the plandemic shutdown bears some responsibility as well for failing to speak the truth. But as POTUS, the buck stopped with Trump The true test of integrity of a person is whether or not that person will own his or her actions. Trump wants to be selective when it comes to which credit or blame gets assigned to him. That is not integrity. If Trump truly cares about Making America Great Again, then he will tell us all the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. He hasn't done that yet.

Public comments at Rules Committee hearing 1/12/23
I would have liked to have stayed to give public comment on other proposed rule changes as well, but my schedule would not allow for it. There were, I think, 55 rule changes that they went through, one by one. I was fortunate that the one I most wanted to speak to was early in the list. It was the one that Senator Hunt proposed to get rid of the opening prayer in the legislature. Boy, I wish I had more than two minutes to speak! (And I actually think they cut my time a bit short!) I don't think that our legislature will actually get rid of the opening prayer, but I do think they ALL (on both sides of the aisle) have forgotten why they pray there. I have been told by some that I should not criticize Republicans, with the explanation being that we should not let the perfect be the enemy of the good. But a failure to hold corruption accountable cheapens the good and robs it of its meaning.

J-6 political prisoner Jeremy Brown: Those opposing McCarthy are WARRIORS
Pay attention, folks. THIS is why our congressmen and congresswomen absolutely MUST hold the line and not give in to corrupt Kevin McCarthy.
We owe it to those PATRIOTS who have been wrongly imprisoned and persecuted by our government to continue to encourage those in the House to hold the line. And we owe it to ourselves and to the future that we will leave behind for our kids to put ceaseless pressure upon our representatives to hold the line.
HOLD THE LINE.
The full video with Jeremy Brown can be viewed here on The Gateway Pundit. It is noted by the interviewers that these comments praising those who are holding the line against McCarthy were the FIRST thing that Jeremy Brown chose to speak about. Do not underestimate the importance of what it is that these brave representatives in the House are doing. They are staging the intervention that our country has needed for a long time now. Please support our WARRIORS in the House and please support Jeremy Brown and other political prisoners of our government.

Will Republicans demand accountability or will they reward corruption?
Conservative groups talk a good game about government overreach and about being on the side of the people. What Governor Ricketts did when he used the authority of his office as governor (and his official .gov website!) to proclaim a person guilty (complete with chastisements and insults) was most definitely an example of government overreach.
Will the NEGOP and conservative groups across the state of Nebraska call upon Pillen NOT to reward Ricketts abuse of governmental authority and to appoint someone else to Sasse's seat in the U.S Senate? Watch what they do. Any who are on the side of the people will speak out against such corruption and demand accountability. There is no excuse not to.

Is this who Nebraska wants to fill Sasse's vacated Senate seat?
Pillen sat silent and allowed his friends in our government to proclaim Herbster GUILTY as alleged by Slama. People would be wise to take note of the significance of his failure to speak up.
They should also take a hard look at all of the elected officials who participated in that corruption. (Is the Herbster Victim Witness Defense Fund, established by Republican senators, still up and running?) We have government now that thinks they can just point the finger of guilt at those who get in their way.
It's wrong when it happens to those who attended our nation's capitol on January 6, and it's wrong when it happens right here in our very own state.
Many reluctantly supported Pillen for governor, claiming that they would rather get a Republican elected and THEN hold him accountable, rather than to have called him to account before the election. If you were one of those people, then now is the time for you to keep to your word to hold Pillen to account. Governor Ricketts is now seeking to be appointed to the senate seat being vacated by RINO Ben Sasse. But is Ricketts any better?
Governor Ricketts engaged in an abuse of the authority of his position as governor. If you voted for Pillen and you don't speak up now and advise Pillen NOT to appoint Ricketts to Sasse's senate seat, then you are supporting that kind of government, and none of us are safe under that kind of rule. The NEGOP has condoned it and maked excuses for such behavior when they still called for people to vote for Pillen for governor. Will they speak up now and hold Pillen to account? Or will Republican leadership sit silent in the face of all of this and allow Pillen to reward the corruption which his friends in elected positions engaged in on his behalf?

Shouldn't we INSPECT the machines that count our ballots?
Secretary of State Evnen fights like hell to protect the machines that WE pay for. Despite those machines coming at a high cost to the taxpayers, Evnen treats them as if they were solely his own to do with as he wishes.
He musters no fight whatsoever when it comes to providing voters with the transparency that we have been calling for so that we may know that our elections are truly being conducted securely.
The time is now for our senators to draft legislation which would restore faith in our election process. Make no mistake, that faith has been lost--and with good reason. Nebraskans will be watching our legislators to see what they will do.

Ricketts on hand recounting of ballots. (He should give Evnen a call.)
https://nebraskaexaminer.com/2022/12/07/amid-lawsuit-over-recount-nebraska-secretary-of-state-to-discuss-accuracy-of-vote-count/
A lawsuit has recently been filed in Nebraska by a candidate who is seeking a hand recount. Secretary of State Evnen has refused the candidate a hand recount. Without a doubt, the way that our elections are run in Nebraska are corrupted. At the very least, they are corrupted in that there is no consistency in the answers which Nebraskans are given when it comes to election questions.
Seeing as how Governor Ricketts agrees that a candidate may seek a hand recounting of the ballots, perhaps he should weigh in on this case. According to Ricketts, when there is "concern," there may be a hand recount. I suppose the real question is WHOSE concern matters, for Secretary of State seems to have none. But then again, when it comes to election integrity, he never does.
