RECIPE (3 servings each 392cal/9P/53C/15F):
-3 Tbsp oil
-1 Tbsp sriracha (less if you don’t like that much spice)
-1 Tbsp soy sauce
-1/2 Tsp each ground ginger and garlic powder
Else:
-200g noodles (raw weight)
-300g veggies of your choice (e.g. carrot and bell pepper)
BOIL the noodles and mix up the sauce/FINELY CHOP the veggies and combine everything in a bowl/SERVE cold or heat it up for a few mins.

RECIPE (4 servings each 322cal/16P42C/9F):
Batter:
-1 cup (125g) flour
-3/4 cup (180ml) water
-a pinch of salt and pepper
Else:
-1 Broccoli
-1 cup (100g) breadcrumbs
Sauce:
-1/4 cup (60g) peanut butter
-1/2 lime
-1 Tbsp sweetener
-1 Tbsp tomato paste
-3/4 Tsp each salt and Chili flakes
-1 Tsp curry powder
-4-5 Tbsp water
DIP the broccoli into the batter and breadcrumbs/BAKE at 180Celsius/360Fahrenheit for 25-30min/MIX UP the sauce/TOSS the broccoli in the sauce/OPTIONALLY bake it an additional 7-10mins

Slow braised pork chops with Cheesy Cauliflower Rice
American cheese slices, with heavy cream, butter, salt & pepper to 1 whole riced cauliflower.
I always cook the cauliflower first to let the liquid out before adding the cheese.
The pork was browned in butter and seasoned with salt, pepper, cumin, and smoked paprika
I then added one tomato, 2 cups of bone broth
One onion
Three garlic cloves
More butter
(I usually add cherry tomato but didn’t have. The flavor was the same- but I missed the look of the smaller tomato)
Flip the chops after an hour on 325°, then top with butter and let it go until fork tender.
We like pork cooked till well done here, no med-rare pork chops are getting plated at my house- sorry!

In a bowl combine 2 oz shredded mozzarella cheese and 1 egg.
Cook your mix in a waffle maker for 2 minutes. I used my mini dash waffle maker.

Recipe
1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tsp. ground cumin
Juice of 1 lime
2 tbsp. freshly chopped cilantro, plus more for garnish
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil, divided
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Romaine lettuce, for serving
1 avocado, thinly sliced
1/4 c. Sour cream, for serving
In a large bowl, stir together shrimp, cumin, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, and 2 tablespoons oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss until combined, then let marinate in the fridge for 10 minutes.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add shrimp and marinade cook until pink, 2 minutes per side.
Assemble wraps: Add shrimp and avocado to lettuce, drizzle with sour cream, and garnish with cilantro

Ingredients⠀
— Chicken breasts, then cut slits into the breasts⠀
— Olive oil⠀
— 1 tbsp garlic (finely diced, rubbed onto chicken and then pushed into the slits of chicken)⠀
— 1 tbsp ginger (finely diced, rubbed and pushed into the slits of the chicken)⠀
— 1 tsp coriander/ cilantro (chopped and fresh is so much nicer)⠀
— 1 tsp salt⠀
— 1 tsp black pepper⠀
— Honey as desired⠀
— organic low sodium Tamari soy sauce, pour over chicken, and just make sure the chicken is just barely sitting in the sauce as this creates a delicious sauce to spoon onto baked chicken later⠀
— broccolini/ broccoli or Asian greens will do.⠀

Mashed potatoes⠀
— golden potatoes⠀
— milk⠀
— butter⠀
— Parmesan cheese⠀
— salt and pepper⠀
⠀
Instructions⠀
Preheat oven to 425. Add olive oil, then chicken into baking dish. Slit the chicken. Rub the garlic and ginger over the chicken and then push some into the slits. Pour the Tamari over the chicken, then sprinkle the coriander/ cilantro, salt and pepper, honey over the chicken and sauce in dish. Then spoon the soy sauce over the chicken again so every part of chicken as had Tamari over it. Then place in oven for 3O minutes or until chicken is cooked through (every oven is different so make sure u keep checking the chicken). While baking cook the mashed potatoes. l add butter, milk, and Parmesan to my mashed potato for a more delicious creamy taste and texture.⠀

In today's program, we are going to share the science behind the keto diet and address the nuances and considerations as to whether or not this is the right plan for you.
Before we get into what the keto diet islets make sure we understand the background of ketosis and how our body uses energy.
A metabolism is a group of chemical reactions that take place within the body’s cells for the use of energy.
It is essentially the body’s process of converting food into energy to be utilized in our muscles, nerves, cells, breathing, digestion and circulation of the blood.
Our bodies typically use glucose as energy, which comes from carbohydrate. This comes from things like fruits, veggies and grains.
The body either uses the glucose (simple sugar), or glycogen, the stored form of glucose in the liver as our main source of energy. Glucose travels into the cells by way of insulin the bodies storage hormone, so it can be used for energy production there.
When we decrease the amount of carbohydrate in our diet our insulin levels reduce and the amount of available energy via glucose is also reduced.
So the body needs to turn to a different source of energy, triggering an increased delivery of fatty acids to be used through the liver for fuel.
These fatty acids are called triglycerides which are trapped within your fat cells, until called upon for energy.
This is why nutritional plans like the adkins diet have become so popular for weight loss as they trigger the body's use of fat for energy.
Some of those fatty acids get turned into ketones, or organic acid compounds. Ketosis is the metabolic state where the bodies glucose levels become so low that it switches over to fat stores releasing ketones.
A Ketogenic diet is essentially a metabolic switch from using glucose as the body’s main energy source to burning body fat and ketones.
It is a high fat, moderate protein, low carbohydrate food plan which consists of: 60-75% fat, 15-30% protein, 5-10% carbohydrates.
As the body adapts or becomes more comfortable using fat and ketones we become more efficient at employing these fuel sources for our energy needs.
Basically we become more efficient at oxidizing fat. This has its advantages from a metabolic standpoint.
Some of the advantages include a reduction in inflammatory markers associated with metabolic disease.
Some of the basic biomarkers include lowered triglycerides and LDL levels, a decrease in insulin resistance resulting in improved blood sugar regulation, and upregulation in hormone sensitivity reducing stress on the body.
