The town where I live has a very popular Halloween celebration. Our fire department escorts the kids and parents for about a block to the fire station. It was our biggest turnout since the pandemic.

The Black Bear was once uncommon in Western Massachusetts a few years ago. After bear hunting was restricted using bear dogs the population rebounded.

On Monday, July 10 we had heavy rains in the Northeast. There was local flooding and road damage. This is one of the streets that was affected.
